Michelle, I looked at the spreadsheet and saw that Wild Strawberry is our color for the first week.

Juliana, I'm liking this so far, more than the second book. I'm through chapter 11.

Book 3: The Dragon Reborn

Prologue: (view spoiler)[This prologue made more sense than the one in the second book. I meant to go back and read that one again to see if I understood it better after reading the second book but forgot. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 1-3: (view spoiler)[Rand is a loose cannon right now. He seems out of control. I like Moiraine but she drives me a little crazy with never explaining anything to the others. No wonder they all act the way they do. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 4-5: (view spoiler)[I hope that Perrin can manage this ability without losing his humanity. He is my favorite of the three boys. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 6-9: (view spoiler)[Interesting that the dreams are coming to the others too. I thought it was confined to the boys and Egwene. Also the rash of weddings! Sad about Noam. Perrin has a reason to be scared. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 10-11: (view spoiler)[Back to the girls. They are almost to Tar Valon. Mat looks to be in really bad shape. I do wish the girls would listen to Verin. They are almost as bad as the boys in talking when they should be silent. I wonder if Liandrin is at Tar Valon and what will happen when they see her. They have to know now that she is a Black Ajah. Hi, everyone! Just checking in to say hello to my new teammates. This is my first Wheel-a-thon and I'm looking forward to it.

I think that will work. My library only has one copy and it's checked out so I put in a request for it. There was no one ahead of me so hopefully I can get it by then.

I would like to continue with the BR, Juliana. I'm sure the next book picks right up where the second one ended. It's probably going to be next week before I can get the book though. When do you plan on starting?

(view spoiler)[Even though I felt something was a little off with Ingtar, I was still surprised that he was a Darkfriend. Nynaeve is becoming one of my favorite characters. Rand continues to irritate me but maybe he will be better now that he has faced the fact that he is the Dragon reborn. And what have Moiraine and Lan been doing all this time? A good ending but a lot of questions remain. Leading into the next book, of course. LOL (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[The conclusion was good except it felt a little abrupt to me. The one thing that I didn't understand is why Lucy and Paul decided to stay in the early twentieth century. (hide spoiler)]

Book 2: The Great Hunt

I'm on Chapter 45 and will finish today.

Juliana, (view spoiler)[The action certainly picks up in the last chapters. I knew Liandrin was up to no good, and I agree that she must be Black Ajah. Although how she can serve the Seanchan is a mystery to me. I'm beginning to really like Nynaeve and believe she can pull off Egwene's rescue. And now I understand the parts about Domon. I knew Jordan had him in Falme for a reason. (hide spoiler)]

Oh wow, Juliana! I've got to finish this book! It has felt so slow-moving but it looks like it really picks up toward the end. I'm only through Chapter 34 but hope to finish it in the next day or so. I'll be back to comment.

Through Chapter 6.

(view spoiler)[I'm a little confused. So Lucy and Paul brought the chronograph that they had stolen to Gwyn's grandfather right before he died (mysteriously, perhaps). So doesn't that mean that they have no control over their time-traveling now? And this chronograph now has everyone's blood except Gideon. So with his blood the circle would be complete using this chronograph. Also, the fact that Lucas hid the chronograph seems to point to the fact that he believed Lucy and Paul. I think it's safe to bet that Lucas' death wasn't natural. (hide spoiler)]

Through Chapter 24. I'm enjoying the chapters at Tar Valon more than the ones with Rand.

@Juliana - (view spoiler)[I wondered about Moiraine's questioning of Lan's loyalty, especially after Nynaeve's testing in Chapter 23 and her vision of the future. And I think you're right about the Draghkar's similatities to the Dementors! (hide spoiler)]

I don't understand how that is to happen but it must have something to do with having the blood of all twelve so it was necessary to wait for Gwen to become the twelfth time-traveler. And she has to die for the prophecy? to come about. (hide spoiler)]
