Ok, I felt really sad for Rachel to start, but now her crazy behaviour is starting to get too much. I am wondering how I can like this book so much when there is not one character that is likeable. (view spoiler)[I really, really dislike Anna, she got one she wanted and has absolutely no guilt or remorse that someone else's life was ruined in the meantime. Because of this I can't even feel sorry for her having to put up with Rachel's totally inappropriate behaviour. I just wish Rachel would take get life back and move on and not move her obsessive behaviour to Scott (hide spoiler)].

Finished! Wow, that didn't end up going where I expected it to. (view spoiler)[ I am hoping that Dottie gets caught in a later book in the series, but I am thinking she will probably be the one that go away - after all criminals aren't always caught. All in all, another great, fast paced read from Ms Slaughter. I will definitely be reading the rest of the series. (hide spoiler)]

I have just finished Kisscut, which will add another 80 points with the BR.

I'm about 40% of the way through and I am loving it. I really don't know how I feel about Rachel, (view spoiler)[on the one hand she has done some truly awful things, she is a total mess and her behaviour makes her quite unlikable. On the other hand I feel so desperately sad for her that she has lost her husband who she obviously loved a lot, plus she can't have children which obviously devastated her. And then knowing that Anna essentially is living the life she wanted with Tom, must be so hard, I find her grief so palpable it's heartbreaking. I just wish and hope that by the end of the story she is in a getter place. (hide spoiler)]

I saw the synopsis for the second one in the Bill Hodges series is up on Goodreads, so maybe that will be out in this year - he's pretty quick with churning them out.

I'm also in a BR for which I will try to get finished tonight. Not sure if I will finish in time as it's an audible which takes me heaps longer, but I'll try.

Chapter 1-6

WTF - Slaughter certainly doesn't mind thinking up some sick stuff! I tell you one thing, I would not want to live in Grant County., bad things happen there.

Of course I am now totally hooked and want to know what the hell happened.

I've agree with previous comments about Lena Adams. I didn't like her in Blindsighted and nothing has changed so far in this book, even though I recognise the awful thing she has gone through, she's just not likeable - but I guess books would be boring if you liked every character.

I will be starting this one tonight, I got a bit caught up with some others I had to finish over the weekend. Sounds like its another good one though, from the comments above.

Started listening to this today for my commute to work. It wasn't what I was expecting at all. So far I am really, really intrigued, however I am finding it a little bit depressing at the same time. Also, a lot of people seemed to indicate it was a lot faster paced than Gone Girl, but I haven't found that yet, but that may change further in. All in all though, I think I am gonna like this one.

Snow Tulip, I have the same problem! I have 60 unread books on my eReader, but still I want to buy more - its ridiculous! Its starting to become an expensive addiction.

Ugghh, I tried to get through Count of Monte Christo on Audible book and just couldn't.

Totally, you girls are so much fun and I have read some awesome books that I would never have considered otherwise!

Oh, I will be interested to see what you think of it Kristin. I really liked it but plenty of reviewers didn't like it at all. I can see why as it's quite slow moving but I didn't mind that. I bought the third book in the series last night :)

They are sort of similar. Same sort of story although the love triangle is a lot heavier in Infernal Devices and I think better done, although I am not a fan of the love triangle really. Also, the steampunk vibe is good, which made the story a bit more interesting I think. So, I think they are slightly better, but definately put downable - I have only read the first two about a year ago and haven't got around to the third yet.
