(# 10) my absolute favourite, followed by
(#12). The latest one I was a a bit meh over, but the Nix storyline is getting interesting.

And you can use it for its pink cover :)

"I was going to download that one for a pink cover until I saw you put it as the worst book for 2015.

I have this one for my red cover too - no idea what it is like but it has been on my eReader for months

I am struggling with the Red/Pink covers too, although I downloaded
yestserday after seeing it in V's best series picks.

That sounds like fun, I think I will get in on that as my bookshelf has some very, very dusty books!

What's Dusty Bookshelf about V?

I think we have very similar tastes Kristin :). Regarding Dracula, there are so many people who love that book, so you might enjoy it - it just didn't work for me.
I couldn't put the Immortals After Dark series down, so I just read them one after another until I finished them - no other book got a look in :). I don't know what it is about Kresley Cole but her stuff just clicks with me and I love it. I have also devoured the first two of her Arcana Chronicles series as well and have the third ready to go.
I think, given our similar tastes, I will have to try the Throne of Glass series. I also have Dark House on my list for February and can't wait start the Experiment in Terror series :)

Sempre was on the bottom of my TBR pile and I read it as part of your bingo challenge for the 'read a book at the bottom of your TBR pile' task. It would still be at the bottom if it wasn't for that task :)

1. Best book of 2014 & why:
- I thought this was a little gem, I just loved the re-invention of Medusa's story and the modernisation of the Greek Gods. I still giggle at the thought of Zeus walking around with an iPad.
2. Best book of 2015 so far & why:
- such a well written book. To keep me interested for 1200+ pages, Stephen King did well.
3. Best Audio of 2014 (if applicable) & why:
- I thought the male and female narrators did an amazing job with this book. I couldn't wait to get to my car to listen to it on my commute.
4. Best audio of 2015 so far & why (again if applicable):
- There is no way I would have enjoyed this book as much if I had read it. The narrators and their southern accents brought this book alive.
5. Worst book of 2014 and why:
- This confirmed that chick lit ain't my thing, especially when it was this bad - my advice is to stay away!
6. Worst audio of 2015 so far and why (again if applicable):
- the actors were good, but nothing could help this story for me... boring.
7. A book you will sell your soul to read but haven't yet.
- I can't wait to find out what happens to Penryn and Raffe when it is released in May :)
8. A book you made a deal with the devil to read but turned out to be a complete raspberry !!
- I saw the film and loved it, but the short story was awful. I actually DNF the compilation as I couldn't make it through all the stories.. uggh. Kudos for the film makers on this one.
9. A book you only read for a challenge but turned out to be great.
- what an awesome surprise.
10. A book that made you cry :•(
- This was probably the nearest I came to a tearjerker in book form, but the movie destroyed me.
11. Best Series:
Immortals After Dark by Kresley Cole was my guilty pleasure. With the exception of the last one, which was released in Decemeber, I read the other 13 in about just a few weeks.

Yeah, I think the TT has got me hooked on group challenges, so bring on Wheel A Thon :)

Haha, nice categories V :). I'll have to answer them after work tonight.
V Audio Nerd wrote: "Whoop, can we just change the name of this team and carry on lol"Wouldn't that be good!
This wheel-a-thon group challenge sounds like fun too. And what's monopoly all about?

I will definitely keep an eye out - are they group challenges?

Thanks to you too V for all your hard work as our Co-Captain, you did a really great job!
I do believe we qualify as the chattiest group, which is great :)

Finished! Well, that was a bit of a ride. I am going to give this a 5 star rating because it kept me totally engaged right until the end and I couldn't wait to get back to it when I was forced to put it down, which to me is exactly what I love in a good story. I also have to admire the author greatly for writing a story where all the protagonists were so dislikable, yet I couldn't stop reading. Kudos to Paula Hawkins for that!

Sure, I will finish The Girl on the train tonight and will be starting on Undeniable and Letters from the Dead tomorrow :)

I wasn't be able to finish The Girl on the Train before work this morning - I still have a couple of hours to go on the Audio unfortunately.

Congratulations on the win Thundercats, you did an amazing job! Trying to catch up with you guys gave me such motivation to read and I managed to get through some many more books than I otherwise would have.
Its been a lot of fun, so thanks for the challenge!!!

Yay for coming so close after starting a fair way back in the pack! We did well girls.
It was such a blast and I have had a lot of fun over the last couple of months. So many great books read that I wouldn't have even known about, and of course, getting to know my awesome team mates!
