Finished! I was hovering around a 2 star for the first half, but I think I finished at about 3 stars as I finished the book.
(view spoiler)[ The twist at the end of Clary and Jace being brother and sister was great, although I bet at sometime in the future they will probably find out they aren't so that they can be together. But still, good move Ms Clare! I am still interested to see if anything ends up happening between Isabelle and Simon because I think that would be a funny pairing. Hopefully the next in the series will be a bit better than this one as usually series to get better as they go along. (hide spoiler)]

That would be great if you could V :)

Managed to finish two today -
and
. Unfortunately I couldn't anyone to comment on the old City of Bones BR, so only get BR points for the one :(

Finished! Ok, the book got a lot better for me around the 50% mark. I was actually quite enjoying it by the end and will consider reading the next in the series at some point. I was still getting quite confused in many of the scenes towards the end though.
(view spoiler)[The multiple segments of Justice of Toren and especially Anaander Mianaai made it very difficult for me to keep track of who was supporting who, and what they were standing for. However, I loved how the relationship developed between Seivarden and Breq and how loyal he became in the end. I think the next book will be less confusing as it should hopefully just be the one timeliine we will be following. (hide spoiler)]

I have this ready to go on audible collection, so I'll come along for the ride :)

Wow, I got to sleep and wake up to all this activity! If you start a Bird. Box BR I'll come and chat too since I read it in December :)

Chapter 12
I am still finding this read a bit hard going. I am just not clicking with it, however I have found there are some parts I have liked. For instance, I thought the description on the creation of another Segment interesting.
(view spoiler)[ There seemed to be a bit of a struggle from the 1000 year old body to give itself over to the ship's control. Also the fact that the ship could feel its pain from having the armour attached. (hide spoiler)]

I have read the Infernal Devices series before starting this and I was really happy to see Magnus Bane again. He's a fun character I think.

I've knocked my audible book over
, now on to the next.

Oh , I really liked both of those.. Enjoy :)

Well I finished it tonight. I enjoyed the audible version and thought the narrator did a good job. For the most part I really like Bill Hodges, however
(view spoiler)[ it annoyed me that get never went to the police. It seemed like madness that he didn't especially being an ex-cop and I found this quite this unrealistic. I also found it a bit exasperating that he baited the Mercades Killer, it seemed line a fool thing to do given it seemed likely he would retaliate. (hide spoiler)] Besides those couple of points I enjoyed the story and it was interesting getting inside the mind of the killer as well as the detective, getting both points of view.

Yay, I've finished work and it's now officially the weekend for me. I have my eReader beside me and I'm going in. See you on other side ;)

How good would that be Erica!

Don't you hate life getting in the way of reading - especially work life!

I should hopefully finish a few books this weekend. I have had trouble getting into any one book, which means I have been reading several at the same time. I have put aside this weekend to finish as many as I can.
