I'm the same, I've been wanting to read both books for ages and kept getting sidetracked. Hopefully I will enjoy it as much as everyone else has :)
I''m one of the ones that really enjoyed it. But I love all that psychology stuff and found it fascinating. Going by reviews, it seemed to be one of those books that people either loved or hated. Did you read it or listen to it? I often wonder if I read a book instead of listened to it if my opinion would change - audio can make such a difference sometimes.

Ooohhh! Sorry, I missed that.I can read
for the book on the cover challenge, but I have to finish another one first, so if any one else gets to it first, that's fine :)
Yeah I did. I gave it three stars - worth the read, especially to see what life has been like in Afghanistan for the last 30 years, especially for women. It certainly pulls on the heartstrings at times.

#28 on Amazon Bestseller List 2008
I really liked the movie version of A Walk to Remember, but I haven't read the book yet.I also thought Crazy, Stupid, Love was awesome.. those abs indeedy!
Yeah, I gave it 4 solid stars. It was an interesting concept, great characters, kick-ass female, pretty much no romance (maybe a bit of sexual tension) which was a refreshing change and an all-round fun fantasy read. I would recommend it.
I have Born Standing Up: A Comic's Life on my audio account which is 4:03 minutes long, but I need to finish A Thousand Splendid Suns for the 2008 Amazon bestseller goal first.
I have A Thousand Splendid Suns on audio that I could listen to. It's on the Amazon 2008 bestseller list.
I think the book I'm reading now has about 57 chapters, but it's not 100% clear as the chapters are divided into sections and not numbered 1 through 57. The book is A Darker Shade of Magic. I would be interested to know how you check as well.
I finally finished The Bone Clocks, it was a long one but thankfully worth the time spent on it.Pages 608
Goals: nothing yet, but will work for multiple narrators on audio if that goal comes up again.
