Sure will sign us up now :)
Have to admit I have totally gotten into comic books of late, but I have to say my tastes run to the dark, twisted comics :D

Once cAAmp starts I am going to have to kick in with some fancy footwork to organise books!!

Yeah, I am happy to go for 1 a week, that is managable taking into account the amount of challenges we are all doing at the moment!! Thankfully, you can use the books for more than one cAMMP activity! Well I am assuming you can because you were able to for Hogwarts!

Hey ladies, they have just put up the cAMMP sign ups for Bingo and it says you can create your own team of four and you don't have to be in the same cabins. Since us chickadees are a group of four, do you fancy making a team for cAMMP Bingo?
There is a slow Bingo (1 book per week) and a speedy Bingo (2 books per week)

I was comparing our books today trying to find options for ones you rated 5 stars and I haven't read yet. All of us rated be..."I think we all have very similar tastes for the most part :).
I am looking forward to starting all the new cAMMP challenges once we hit July. It's hard to keep a track though!

Thanks ST for going to the effort of posting all those books, it was much appreciated :)
Thanks for the link V, that took me to the sale page - it just goes to show the difference between country sites though as the sale said 100 books but my site only showed about 45 books. It baffles me why there are restrictions on what books are released to which countries... So frustrating. Anyway a haul of seven books isn't too bad :P

Maybe.. I looked though and it's not the Aussie site I am on, so who knows.
I just noticed ST posted another lot of books - I'm going back in! :)

Thanks ST!!!!

Interesting. My audible site has no sale page but when I go to the books th at Kristin has bought they say Sale Price: $4.95. Which is great but I want to see what other books they have on sale... Sigh

Uggh, I'm listening to
Elizabeth Is Missing at the moment and it is so slow!! I have to keep plodding on with it though as I need it finished for a Hufflepuff challenge.

Ooh, I have
The Law of Moses sitting on my eReader. I will have to read it before the mini challenge finishes this week on Grimm. And I'm off to see if there are any Audible deals going on the site I'm on ( not sure which one it is)

What about
:). The female MC is co owner of a kennel.
FinishedWhat a great ending
(view spoiler)[I loved the fact that some of the women got their comeuppance at the end and I have to say that Maria was a lot more gracious about it than I would have been by feeling compassion for them. If they had just been snubbing Maria then I would probably have been able to feel sorry about how things turned out for some of the Beas, but these were grown women who basically bullied a nine year old girl to get at Maria. Not cool Jan. However, I loved the lesson that you can't judge people's lives by the image they put out. None of us know what us going on in the lives of others behind the scenes and the best thing you can do is live your own life in your own way. I think Maria's realisation of that at the end was great and it felt like she finally emerged from the Bea haze she had been lost in for so long. Also, thought the text at the end was a great way to finish. (hide spoiler)]

I think I am about 70% of the way through and I am loving the book. The Beas are truly awful and I really hope they get their comeuppance. I really like Joe, he seems like a decent guy and
(view spoiler)[I sort of feel sorry for him that Maria isn't being supportive of him when he is obviously unhappy. I understand how hard it is to truly hate your job and I have always moved on if I felt that way about mine. Considering how much money Maria has spent trying to keep up with the Beas in the past I think she is being a bit selfish with Joe's wants and needs and I am interested to see how their relationship all plays out (hide spoiler)].

Ok, so I had to move house today so what with preparing to move and actually moving I haven't had much chance to read. Anywho, I'm lagging behind a bit but will be back in the saddle tomorrow and should hopefully get some more chapters in after the big unpack tomorrow.

I don't know about you ladies, but I am struggling to keep a track of all my challenges, especially with the cAMMP. We are in the process of moving house at the moment which is taking up most of my spare time out of work. Once the move is done I really need to sit down and organise my challenges so I know what I have signed up to!

I managed to get in the first three chapters last night and I am loving it. I am enjoying the writing style and am liking the main character a lot so far. Not having kids I have never had to deal with the competitive mum set, but I can imagine it might get quite vicious in some circles.

Luckily it doesn't need to start with a "U" too!!"At least it only has to have something purple on the cover instead being a certain % purple - it makes it a little easier to find an appropriate book. Team Cinderella has blue, which isn't too bad.
