If we put the free square on BUSINESS GENRE and use a travel agent book on the scarf (assuming Sallie's cat-wearing-scarf book is deemed unsuitable), that's Lucky 7.There are several elegant travel agent squares -- Kiss from Mr Fitzgerald, Of Silk and Steam (the scarf looks silk, doesn't it? I'm clueless), the In Death book (because it looks expensive, like Roarke).
My book club (meeting tonight, so I woudn't mind finishing this book) is Delancey: A Man, a Woman, a Restaurant, a Marriage about a couple starting a restaurant out here in Seattle.It doesn't have many goodreads tags, but the library classifies it as "Resteraunteurs" and "Pizzaria". Does that count as business? It's a specific kind of business -- starting a restaurant.

Sallie, the cat on the cover of your "READING UP A STORM" is wearing a bandana around its neck as a SCARF. Is that a trademark of the cat? Because if so maybe your book fits in the SCARF square.
Was it scary? It's on my TBR list but I'm a bit of a wimp. (And great reading, Moonlight!)
Per Nancy's books -- what happens to books we finish between the end of BINGO and the start of BOOKULES? Can we use them for the next event? I've started some new books but I wasn't going to finish them until I knew.

You are doing awesome Miranda! I had the summer off but things are starting up again, so it won't be as easy for me to sneak off and spend the day reading.
Sheila and Moonlight are finishing up Horror and Cactus, both 300+ books. Moonlight's "not a series" book ended abruptly without hitting the 300 page mark, so I put in Nancy's.I meant to try to do a Bingo Square with a book from everybody, and we may have done that already, but I think we are missing Sallie from this one. Also Jennifer -- is she on vacation?
It looks like Labors of Bookules will be different events, like in the Olympics, and each event has the base thing and when you finish that you can do the Favor of the Gods part.But I don't know what "reading and non-reading" tasks are. Maybe we go on field trips to libraries?
Nancy had a 300 pager "Not in a series" so I swapped that in.
Is anyone keeping track of our rewards? I know what we earned from this one, but we had a bunch of MILONS and some other stuff and we don't use them. I want to use this stuff!How many pages is Peregrine's children? If it's over 300 than it's as good as these extra books. So it's up to you, Moonlight. Are you both getting done at the same time? Sheila has down probably Friday, but that means sometime between now and Friday night :-)
Right now there are 37 hours left in Bingo.
If y'all finish tonight we will have the next card for a day and a bit, which is enough time for us to try to scramble something together (maybe not enough time to get it together, but we'll probably try). If you don't finish until Friday then we'll only have a few hours and (I assume) will not feel any pressure.
We still have the FREE SPOT and Travel agent bonuses left. So you and Sheila get to decide.
OK, I just saw your cactus books was 400+ pages so I wasn't sure how inconvenient it would be. After all, they have removed your Dr Pepper station from your living room :-)Moonlight, do you want to stick with your last two books, or should we swap in a 400 page guy for Horror? I'm enjoying using these bonuses.
I'm off to happily browse a zillion books, because this ends tomorrow right? So I should have a bunch of books half-finished to be poised for the next one. I'll just make sure not to finish anything.
So I'm browsing in the Travel Agent Books. It looks like I'm looking for Horror, or Cactus, right? The Knife of Never Letting Go (479 pages) is horror (60 tags and my hearty endorsement -- I was horrified)
Outlander is there -- that might be a better TENT with its 896 pages.
Unspeakable (400 pages) is set in Texas -- is that enough for cactus?
Bone Gap has a bee on the cover, and the picture shows someone getting "stung" so it should work for the cactus square
No, I tried not to put it places because I'm so slow with audio books. I listen on CD in my car, so I can't increase the speed, and it all depends on traffic how long I have to listen. Also, if things get intense I turn it off so I'm not distracted. So sometimes it takes me a week to finish a disk!Ask me about the time I was listening to Loretta Chase's Lord Of Scoundrels, and my 16 year old son got interested in the first disk. So we listened together. It was a bit risky because during the sex scenes I could not look at his side of the car so changing lanes was an impossibility.

I just finished my audio Flight Behavior and I'm thinking it might work for Tent -- they spend a lot of time in their science camp on the mountain, rent out camping spots to people, and then (view spoiler). That spoiler bit is also tent related.What do you think?
Sheila, if I finish my gorilla book tonight should I grab a tent book? Or is there somewhere else I should be reading?
