Task: #183 Feminism MPG
Great review, Stacie. I asked a few other people and they really liked it also. Sadly when I checked online at my library it's a 10 week wait. Maybe it will come in early. If it does I'm going to read it. Obviously, you're not alone in loving it!
Question for those of you who have read the BOM The House in the Cerulean Sea. I've read the synopsis and it sounds interesting. I'm not a fan of fantasy for the most part, but everyone says the book is very good. I didn't like the Equal Rites book, although I appreciated the writing and the humor. All this being said, do you think I would like this book? I want to help out with points as much as I can, but don't want to suffer through 400 pages of storyline that doesn't interest me. TIA for your comments!
I get a kick out of thinking we've got backroom books and Charlotte's Web on the same thread! We will read it all for points!!

I just requested the Adult BOM for July from my library. A very long wait! I really hope it comes in as it sounds like something I'm going to like a lot, even though it means I won't be reading a whole lot of other books since it's so long. I'd be happy to sign up to write questions, but should I do that if I'm unsure I will get the book in time?
I just finished my second reading of The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek for my RL bookgroup. It can't count for our challenge since I read it originally in April 2021, but just want to say if anyone in our group enjoys historical fiction, I highly recommend this book! You know a book is excellent when you've just read it a few months ago and yet on the reread you still read every. single. word!
