Haha! I was misinterpreting the "race" task. I thought it meant race as in car race. I guess my mindset was due to my other challenge, "Wacky Races" that just finished!

Thanks for the answers. I looked in the rules on the spreadsheet, but couldn't find the answers. Probably I needed to go to the main page.
Thanks for the answers. I looked in the rules on the spreadsheet, but couldn't find the answers. Probably I needed to go to the main page.Totally understand about our placement now. It happens often on challenges I know, I just was surprised. Regardless I love our team and TT and having fun reading more than I normally would. Challenges do motivate me for sure! We'll keep checking things off the list and getting it done! I'm currently reading a book which may only work for pages, but I'll look at it to see if it can be used for Jackanory.
 Three questions:
Three questions:1. What is the date this challenge ends? Last day in July??
2. Can the Jackanory books also be used for tasks or Bingo, or are the books only allowed to be used for Jackanory?
3. I looked to see how we're holding up compared to other teams. Ack! I didn't know we were in last place! I feel like we're crossing lots off our list. I know we haven't had a big participation in the BOMs, but just surprised we're so low. I know it's just for fun and to help us meet new people and keep motivated to read books, but still...maybe I'm just too competitive. I do enjoy winning! LOL
Thanks!

Eureka! I found a book that works for #85 Hippo on cover! It's KU, so even better. Sounds rather humorous, so hopefully it will read quickly.

Once I had the physical book in my hands, I saw that it probably wasn't going to work. I'll just read it to our rising kindergarten granddaughter instead as she loves the hot pink pages!
I snooped on two teams to see what they're reading for the task, but nothing that interested me. I'll keep looking!
