I enjoyed Raphael's series initially, but it did sort of meander off track. I'm not exactly sure why. I stuck with it for four books, but the first two were the best.

Once a book is listed on Amazon, it's set in stone--at least where Amazon is concerned. GULP.

No challenge with Mainly by Moonlight but there have been a lot of distractions with The Monuments Men Murders so far.

34844 A super useful webinar on how to use Goodreads as an author! I mean, you would think as long as I've been on here I'd know the basics, but no. I never leave this group.

Among other things, I learned why some of my upcoming books still reflect old release dates.

I've come to understand that a significant number of readers just love the "feel" of historical without getting bogged down in the details. ;-)

Yes. Because of the dryness, we get a lot of floorboard pops and creaks. If I'm alone, I always have to get up and check.

I agree! But they've sort of pulled it back together.

A similar thing happened with Midsommer Murders. After Barnaby left it really felt rudderless. But then it picked back up.
