For reasons known only to themselves, Amazon decided to list The Monuments Men Murders and Mainly by Moonlight as Spanish Language Editions.

For the record, there are NO plans for Spanish Language Editions of these books. If you preorder (and I hope you will), you are getting the book in English.

I finished Stranger in the House (wooohoooo!!!!) and have bade farewell to Montreal. My next fictional stop is Montana and The Monuments Men Murders.
I fell in love with Montana researching Slay Ride, and it actually works beautifully as the setting for the next Art of Murder, so...
Footsteps in the Dark is in its final rounds of edits. Very excited. I think it's such an entertaining collection. Lots of romance, lots of mystery, lots of...footsteps. ;-D
I'm getting sort of excited about writing Sam and Jason again. And I know I'll love the research in this one even more than usual. The danger will be getting lost in it.
And then, finally, I can full devote myself to Mainly by Moonlight (although I've been working on that in between everything else).
Oh! And the Choose Your Moments Game is coming along, slowly but surely. I work on that in the evenings after the day's writing is done.
So that's pretty much a comprehensive update I've where I've been for the last month. Sitting at my computer writing. :-D

That is my theory--regarding the two versus one. Three...the SO would never go three. He is fighting the idea of two, but that's a battle I know I can win--if I'm certain it's the right decision. ;-)

Is that Phryne Fisher?"
It's her niece (who I like much more than I liked the original Miss Fisher). It's now the 1960s and Peregrine has inherited her aunt's estate.

I'm not sure why, but I had been thinking a lot about her lately.

Yes, no matter if she doesn't want to speak to anyone now, it's so important to know that you're all there for here, waiting until she's ready.

Oh Anne, I'm so sorry.
That is not just infuriating, it's terrifying when someone clearly not in control starts talking about suicide (although in this case it's probably his way of trying to distract her from her very justified fury).

It just occurred to me that I don't think of Finland as a greatly religious country! I'm not even sure why (they fact that Finns seem so sane?)

It's the kind of thing that might come back to them at weird times later in their lives.
