34844 1 - Gardening. The wind finally stopped and I tried to get some of my tattered plants into the ground this morning. It's so relaxing spending time in the garden. Lots of things in bloom right now. It smells wonderful out there.

2 - Steadily checking things off The List. Not that the list doesn't seem to grow as quickly as I cross items off. Still.

3 - Seth Meyers

4 - Taking the time to really listen to music. So often it's just background for whatever I'm doing. It's nice to just close my eyes and listen.

5 - Cool cotton sheets

34844 My goodness, I forgot all about Allmen after I got sick! We haven't watched it since, so I'm glad I checked into this thread. :-)

I watched Queens of Mystery this weekend and I LOVED it.

From the adorable opening credits to the quirky, cozy plots. I haven't enjoyed anything this wholeheartedly in ages.

I love this poem so, so much. It's been a favorite since college.

34844 I'm not listening to this yet--it doesn't come out until June--but I wanted to order Stevie Nicks's huge retrospective compilation album and it's only available on VINYL.

What the...?

34844 Starting to feel like my energy and focus is coming back. :-) I went walking with my sister, had my eyelashes redone, promoted the new book a little and answered a SLEW of emails...

I definitely think she's, er, not smart and deserves to be punished. I just more and more am angry and impatient at the idea of prisons. They're so useless!

But then I'm torn too because I also don't believe in the death penalty...and yet, I do think there are some people who are simply too dangerous, too inhuman to keep around.

I really cannot take harm to children. I'm not even sure why as I don't have any! But that's definitely one of my Do Not Cross lines.

Good Lord. How much is the relationship with your brother worth to you? Because putting this in the hands of an objective third party and leaving them to deal with it is in your best interests.

I don't understand people who can't just...be fair. Why is that so hard?
