It's always been one of my favorites, but there's a natural lifespan to any conversation and I was sadly thinking that one had reached it.

If there are new comments, red numbers will still show to let us know there is activity there.

Me too, but it is heartwarming to see a list of HI THERE! and WELCOME!

I was thinking the same thing about doing an introduction.

Oh, a new-to-me author.

Finally a bit of potential competition for ACX/Audible. Bookbub is partnering with Findaway Voices. https://insights.bookbub.com/introduc...
Okay, I just spent the afternoon (*cough*) moving topics and folders around. I've "archived" most of the old and no longer active conversations as well as most of the old book discussions and playlists so that, in theory, it will be easier to find and take part in current discussions.
(In the discussions of my own work, I left topics that related to books I'm working on this year.)
Some of the very old, very large threads in the General section could not be moved, but I'll try again later when the site is maybe not so busy.
I added a couple of new topics like Home Sweet Home (Antonella's request) and One Sentence (share a single sentence, good or bad from a book you're reading).
I did not archive the One Word thread, instead I turned it into the The Best Thing About Today thread because, for some reason, that seemed like a natural segue. :-D
I left 5 Things I Love because people seem so fond of it, but it's not hugely active these days, so we'll see what happens there.
I left a few old topics that I think could be popular again--Share Your Favorite Recipe, for one.
Any other ideas for topics?
Share ONE sentence from a book (or magazine or cereal box or you name it) you're currently reading. Good OR bad. No comment needed. Don't forget to cite the book title and the author.
