Sheeka, the last of the Ensera clan cried at her sister's grave. She remembered, just days before, seeing that strange smile of her sister's on her face. She'd always looked like she was smirking at you but underneath her careless exterior she was someone who cared deeply for this land. She's been someone willing to die for it, though she was one of the last of her own clan living.
Joey. . . Sheeka clutched the note in her pocket in anger. Joey had run across evidence that revealed a traitor in their midst. She'd stopped at Sheeka's home for a day. The next she'd disappeared and been found dead a week later. Sheeka cried again thinking of how shocked she'd been when she'd seen Joey's body.
After a long time of sitting there beside Joey's grave she stood, her hands shaking, and something dark and smoldering awoke in her heart. The person who killed Joey
would die. As a part of. . .no, as the last of the Ensera clan it was her duty to avenge the previous clan leader. The blood of Joesiira Ensera would not continue to cry out from the earth to her for any longer.

Something dangerous was in his eyes. All of it was completely black. A dangerous smirk settled on his face as he watched her. "Stupid." he said. "You never should have followed the path they showed you." He raised his sword and pointed it at her, "Now you'll never find out the truth." he said laughing. It was a strange laugh, it sounded half laughing and the other half like someone strangling on their own cry.

That's when his sharp, angry eyes focused on her.

Light grew larger behind the boy as she walked closer. Behind him she saw a large pit his eyes were the stony kind and a long thin scar lined from above his left eyebrow down to his lip. It was Driden.

(So. . .Is she going to check out the strange cave with the boy or the strange sound?)

The scream rang out again, this time fainter.

((K. I hope you get well quickly.)) :)
The figure of the boy grew a bit clearer, He had blue hair and sharp eyes. A long blue gem encrusted sword was by his side. At the same moment the sound grew louder, then there was a scream.

((You feel up to RPing? I wont bother you if you aren't.))

((Ouch. I really hope you get better soon.))

((How you feeling?))

((Oh my goodness. Was it bad?))
((By the way. Where did she walk?))

(Why were you in the hospital?)
The air around her seemed suspended. Neither disturbance seemed to move from it's spot. They both seemed to be waiting her for to make a choice,.

Then there was an echoing. It came from down the canyon. The sound was a familiar, but strange one. That sounded half like a squawk and half a growl. Then empty door in the stone wall still stood blackly in the wall. There seemed to be a light coming from it. Inside she thought she saw a the figure of a boy.
(By the way sorry for not posting in a while. I've been buried under a pile of homework somewhere in class-land and only now have been able to rise gasping to the surface.)

When the dust cleared nothing and no one there. Only a deserted looking landscape, but something had changed. A smooth dark entrance had appeared in the stone wall to her right.

Driden was dripping in sweat. His hands were above him gripping a thin wire that bit painfully into his hands. Below him there was miles of empty space ending in a harsh and spiked earth that seemed to grin like teeth. Around him there was no solid ground reachable, just the line connected to the two sides of the abyss "You were naughty. Trying to go easy on your prey. Prey I assigned you. Now don't you realize? Those who aren't obedient are punished right?" said the man from the side.
Driden hung there in midair by the line, he twitched when he heard those words. He knew he was going to fall soon. He'd been there for an hour and he knew from his aching arms and bloody arms that they would not take much more. Already he felt the sickening slickness that the red liquid gave the line. He knew that the man would let him fall, let him die if things didn't go how he liked, to him Driden was expendable. Maybe worth even more dead, and, he mused ruefully he'd already proven in a shameful way that he was a survivor. "Right."

Then the most mysterious thing happened. Naomi gave a creepy wide smile that covered the length of her face. Then, as the dust rose everywhere, so thick that it covered everything she said, "You're a traitor Derey. The last ring is left for traitors." The voice was shocking, unlike how Naomi usually spoke, it was a silky higher pitched voice. Then Naomi was completely engulfed in the dust. Derey was in the middle. Nothing could be seen in the rising wind and swirling dust. It was like standing in the middle of a sand storm but much more dangerously silent.

Naomi was finished talking, "That woman, as you put it was one of the most trusted and capable scouts out there. She'd been put on a mission concerning finding out about The Myst's forces and from the last intel she sent us she'd discovered something very important. Obviously she died gaining that information for us, from you." Naomi pulled out her staff fire in her eyes.
The wind around them had picked up and dust swirled everywhere. Naomi with swift striking movements attacked Derey.

Rage en-flamed in Naomi's eyes. "You claim that you weren't involved in the death of
this woman?" She thrust out crumpled drawing to Derey.
(Here's the pic.

"Her name was Joey Myst, she had been sent out as a scout and around the
very time that you and Gabriel went conveniently missing was when she was reported missing! Then a few hours later we found her
dead. Right-by-the-tomb-you-said-you'd-been-at."

Naomi stared at Derey, "Just. . .what. . .have. . .you. . .done Derey? I thought I could trust you but you did it. You killed her." Her fists were shaking and her eyes wide with anger.

And then. . .the last person Derey expected to see stepped out of the shadows, Naomi. "Derey." she said simply, her face a mask of anger.
