I see your point, Lisa. It was definitely less subtle, that's for sure. I felt it was true to her voice though.

I haven't started the Rivera Russian mob books yet. I'm intrigued because I have a soft spot for Russian heroes. :)

We don't have a rule against books further in the series, Tammy. I think as the nominator, you can decide if you think the other readers are okay reading out of sequence.
