DHASG December Challenge
Introduction: December is a chilly close to the year. We get ready to say goodbye to 2015 and hello to 2016. Let's close out our year with some good reading. Thank you so much for participating in a whole year of monthly challenges on the Dangerous Hero Addict Support Group.
Rules:
1. Any member of the DHSAG can sign up for the challenge throughout the month November.
2. All books must be read between December 1st and December 31st.
3. A book may only be used once in the challenge.
4. Post or link to your final stats when you are completed.
5. In your stats, list book name, title and date read. Unless obvious, include why you choose a certain book in parentheses in your stats.
Levels:
1. Deck the Halls: Read 9-12 books.
2. Trim the Tree: Read 5-8 books.
3. Snow Globe: Read 3-4 books.
Categories:
1.Under the Mistletoe: A Christmas tradition is hanging mistletoe to steal a kiss. Read a book where a character steals a kiss from another character.
2.What Are You Doing New Year's Eve?: You can use this challenge in one of two ways, you can count any book you finish on December 31st or you can read a book where a person who doesn't usually date actually gets asked out on a date in the book.
3.Snow Globe: Some of us get snow this month. Even if you don't, you can still read a book where the characters do experience snow.
4.Santa's Naughty List: Read a book where a character would end up on Santa's Naughty List because they haven't been a good boy or girl.
5.Pastry Day: December 9th is designated the day to celebrate pastry. Read a book that represents pastry to you in some way and let us know what it is in parentheses. Here's a list of pastries: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...
6.An Apple a Day: December 1 is Eat a Red Apple Day. To celebrate, read a book that represents some aspect or trivia about apples.

You could also use a book that has an apple on the cover.
7.White Paper Narcissus, Poinsettia, and Holly: These three are the flowers of the month. You can use a book with any of these flowers on the cover, or book covers that include the colors red, white or green in any combination.
8.Christmas Radio: Take one of your favorite Christmas songs and use it in this challenge for a book you read this month, any way you want.
9.Letters to Santa: In honor of the tradition of writing letters to Santa Claus, read a book where a lead characters use letters to communicate (includes emails and texts).
10.Holiday Party Time:One of the biggest aspects of this month is how work culture seems to revolve around the holiday party, and families and friends also do plenty of their own celebrations. Read a book with a party taking place during the book.
11.White Elephant Gift Exchange: Part of our holiday celebration is to exchange gifts. Read a book where a character gives another character a gift or some kind.
12.End of the Year To Do List: We are at crunch time, trying to get everything done before January 1st. Read a book that you've had on reading your list all year. For this challenge, you can even use a book you started before December 1st, which is not allowed for any other aspect of the monthly challenges!
Bonus: You can read a Christmas/Holiday themed book and count it for this challenge.

I've been listening to this on Kindle. Will take me a awhile to finish it, but it's interesting.

I enjoy the Psy/Changeling series. I like how she keeps things fresh.

I love Blacklist. Behind on it as well!

I have a crush on Liev Schrieber, but that show is a little too dark for me with all the family drama and bad choices.

It's good. Kind of dark, but good.

Thanks for your understanding. I will work on it tomorrow afternoon and get it posted!

We will always have a dangerous hero specific yearly challenge, but we also have those that aren't specific. So it's all good!
