yeah, I can see what you mean. I am so hooked on that series though. It gets more complicated as it goes along. :)
Since there has been a lack of feedback/participation, we'll put off group reads until 2016. Thanks to everyone who participated in our Summer Reading Program!

I'm glad you enjoyed it, Natalie. I still have to read book two in the series. I did read the last book, and the Mr. Brown situation does come to light.I agree with all your comments. :)
Any other nominations? I will extend the period until the 21st to give folks time if they want to nominate books.
Endera wrote: "You should try Rucker Shays On The Edge Of Love it's amazebos"My friends have highly rated it. It seems like it might be a bit too edgy for me. I don't like erotic content (anal, BDSM).

I thought we might just play around with the timing of the group reads since this time of year is notoriously busy. How about we have a combined October/November group read, and we can do a December/January group read?I'm open to suggestions.
What books would you like to read for the Oct./Nov. group read?
1. They need to be available to buy or check out from the library (nothing rare or out of print).
2. Books don't have to be read in order in a series, but it's better if they are or can be read as standalone.
3. Our group is not age restricted, so lets stay with NC-17 or younger content books.
4. The book should have some dangerous hero content.
The poll will go up on October 19th.

I don't get a lot of time for rereads, so I go to my tried and true authors when I need to hear their familiar voices.

That makes me feel better that it's not just me, Endera. It's a break from reality, for sure.I'm not saying I would ever want an assassin boyfriend in real life though. That would be no. :)
So how many times have you guys read your comfort books?Do you try to squeeze them in yearly or in a book slump?
Which romance books are your tried and true favorites? In other words, you've read them more than once and look to them for a good comfort read.
