Must agree, it is very annoying when you get an entire synopsis of the book instead of a review.

Welcome to the group Michelle! Wow, 7 kids will keep you busy! I'm glad that you joined our group and I hope that you enjoy it! Good luck with Atlas Shrugged, that is quite an undertaking!
Vicky wrote: "Oh and I'm up for Hawaii and I'm all for the stranded group, book swapping, idea as well Lisa!"Sounds great! We have a couple members that live there already, maybe they can help us figure out where to strand ourselves!

Very possible, I haven..."Must agree with you Vicky. I wondered after the success of the TrueBlood show if Harris would find a new direction to head off into. She also stopped the Harper Connelly series and, I think, the Aurora Teagarden series. I enjoy all of her stuff and would gladly read anything new by her. I really enjoyed the Teagarden and the Lily Bard series.

I'm not sure who you..."All those interested in a buddy read/reread of Le Pere Goriot, when would be a good time for everyone to start this undertaking?

Wow, all I can say is wow! You two are amazing! Congrats!

Hello and welcome to the group Jenn! I hope that you enjoy it!

I had no idea what this book was until I picked it up from the library yesterday, then I realized that I had read it when I was younger. Plus, my entire family just watched the movie 2 months ago! Needless to say, my oldest daughter is REALLY excited to read this one! She wants to start NOW, well actually YESTERDAY! Should be fun!

Hello and welcome Rachel! I hope that you enjoy the group!

Has anyone else noticed how many book covers are starting to cut off half or all of the person's head? Case in point:
,
. Makes me laugh!

I figured it out that if our entire bookclub was stranded together, that would be 675 books! So, we just need to find an island big enough for all of us, with lots of bookshelves!

Food for the brain, that..."Hmmmm, I'm not sure that my kids would agree when there is no Captain Crunch in the house! LOL!

Wow! Congrats to you Katherine! I can't wait to read your review on Before Verseilles, I tried for that one also.

So true!

I'm glad that you enjoyed it Kerri! I picked up Sea Star and Stormy, but have not gotten to them yet.

I just finished
and I'm now starting
. Plus, I'm still chugging along with The Count of Monte Cristo.

It would not surprise me to find a battle over his estate. Very sad.
