Bec McMaster's

I've got that one just downloaded too, Lulu. I still really like this series/spin off and hope to get to that book soon.

Wow Waverly, thanks for sharing that. I'm sure there are ups and downs... but it sounds amazing for a group of book lovers like we all are. My most surreal book experience was going to the Bronte Parsonage and seeing the table where Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre were written and walking those Moors. I'll never forget that.

How fantastic Carol. It's a beautiful country... and the men are so charming, LOL.

In the Legacy spin off series, it's more like the original books, centring the story on the new recruits and not so many POV's and other storylines as the series proper. More paranormal romance.
In the series proper, there is ongoing storyline and quite a few POV's and switching between although I think she has refined the technique so it flows a lot better. There are new couples finding their HEA over several books and then a re-visit with an existing couple to see how life is going after the HEA.
I still and have always loved them... but if you lost interest or had issues before I'm not sure you will love them again. But you could always give one a try.

PS Thanks for the heads up on The Hanover Square Affair. Seeing it's free I decided to try it. Sounds good.

LAB, understand what you mean about Nalini Singh's style of writing, heavy on the adjectives, metaphors and generally gushy in the emotional descriptions. What I loved in the earlier Psy-Changelings series does grate a little when I read the later books. But to be fair my tastes have moved away from this style to more romance as the secondary theme. She is a bit lighter in the Archangel books or maybe there is more story to distract me there.

I just checked.. apparently another book is due out April 2019 -

I know what you mean about the names. My third grandchild has a name I hated at first but he is such a sweet boy and the shortening suits him I've gotten over it.

I find particularly reading romantic suspense too many sexy times interferes with the plot too much. Who would have thunk it, LOL.

We've got No 4 grand child due in September. I looked after Master 4, Miss 3 and Master 1 last week.. and I needed a day off to recuperate after, LOL.

I'll read the prequel before I decide if I buy the whole first book. J R Ward is usually quite expensive, although I still buy the BDB in hardcover.
I liked but didn't love her Bourbon Kings series, and that reminds me I haven't read the last one yet.

New series for Elizabeth Hoyt, starting December 2018
