Finished Snuff. Enjoyed it as usual with all his books, even though this is not one of my favourite mini series.

That series is about characters first mentioned in one of his other books which I have on my TBR shelf so let me try and get to it this year and if I enjoy it then I will join you.

Oh, that sounds good, except for the vampires. Why does everything have to have vampires or werewolves these days? What's wrong with good old dragons?

I have read 10% of this and am bored. Anyone else read it? Going to read Snuff now and try this again afterwards.

Starting Snuff

OK, I'm finished. Kept meaning to comment and then reading instead. Got to think before I comment on the book much, but initial thoughts include:

Why did I sign up to read about vampires? Not my usual choice at all. At least it wasn't sparkly vampire wannabes, which is what put me of vampire stories in the first place.

I think I liked the book, but not sure on that fact as there were times when I just wanted to get it finished so I could read something better. Will not be a favourite but I think I will probably read the sequel at some point.

@ Lauren, I agree that it wasn't scary to me but must have been a really scary place to be from within the story.

Will be back with more thoughts one they are processed...

Sorry, I've been busy with some other stuff and haven't read much else. Will read more now and commentmore tomorrow...

Chapters 13-19

Finally we get some action, the guy saves Amy and they head to the hills where we have another waiting session before she disappears and then we jump to the future and what feels like a completely different story... I'm still waiting to know what the deal with Amy is and she better show up again before the book ends or I'm not going to be imposed at all! (hide spoiler)]
