Could be interesting, but I think I have enough going at the moment. Also, I read lots of fantasy.

Reach for the Sky has various covers, often with planes on. It is a biography but I absolutely loved it when I was in school and have reread it a couple of times

I totally forgot to comment once I finished this book...

I didn't enjoy it as much as the first one, but then, when I think about it, I realise that I enjoyed the concept of the first book more than the actual book itself. I really liked the concept of the factions and had some awesome discussions with various people, who hadn't even read the book about how a society based like that would work and what faction we would be in, etc.

One thing which has frustrated me about the books is how the factions have gone to the extreme of their characteristics in a negative manner. Erudite has the potential to be an amazing idea that I would serious fit into where the serious search for knowledge is understood and supported (exactly like the science circles I move in) however, they seem to have become so focused on power and using their knowledge to control others, that I just get so annoyed by them. I was happy to finally meet a couple of the Erudite (Cara etc.) who got the point of their faction.

Saying that, I did enjoy the story and will read the next one. I want to know what is outside the fence too...

No problem. I also appreciate those aspects.

I am liable to read the whole thing in a few days, if I have enough time. If that is OK with you, I'm good with no schedule.

Awww, Dash is gorgeous. Luckily Sapphire is generally happy to pose for photos, so I have some awesome ones of him.

I loaded a few pics of me and my work babies on my profile for anyone to check out it they interested...

I currently don't have any pet snakes at home, waiting for my newest baby (a Ball Python) to come. Hopefully, next month sometime.
However, at work, I count all the animals as my pets and I have almost 100 animals, mostly reptiles. One of my favorites is Stars, a 12kg Burmese Python and the newest cool dude is Poseidon, a little yellow Anaconda!!
I will put some of the pics on my profile so only people who want to look can see them...

Good thing I didn't get that one or else we would have to warn people who have a phobia of snakes not to look.

OK, I got seriously distracted from this book. So far I have read:

Ch 1-15
I also took a while to get back into the who's who stuff, but think I have it all sorted in my brain now.
I am enjoying getting to see some of the other factions this time, even the factionless.

I will get back on track tonight and see how far I get...
