Even though I JUST read this: Planetary, Volume 1: All Over the World and Other Stories

I originally read this when it was coming out and didn't like it one bit. On this reread, it made way more sense story-wise. That being said, I have some issues with it. I'll follow up on the show. :D

Marvel Masterworks: The Uncanny X-Men, Vol. 1 - I've told the story of how I got into comics a few times on the show, but this was the book. I still own it to this day.

I've always been into X-Men, even as a kid, but I didn't start reading comics until late high school. This book started it and I LOVED IT. I read Volume 2 and found my way into all sorts of new stuff thanks to Barnes & Nobel (namely Ultimate Spider-Man and Invincible).

This is a favorite of Nick and me. It's seriously SUCH a solid super hero comic set in a very cool universe!

Yeah! That new-52 run of Batgirl was pretty great.

SOLID choices. The Massive is a fantastic series and Ninth Wave was the cherry on top of it all.

I just wrapped 僕のヒーローアカデミア 10 Boku No Hero Academia 10 (My Hero Academia) and it is amazing. It's X-Men and Anime and hero-drama all wrapped up into a series full of incredibly lovable characters--heroes and villains. I love this damn series.

Woo! I'll have to get back into that series. I read Vol 1, collected the rest, but didn't pick it back up. I'll change that!
