I need to do this as well (Hoping Midtown Comics will have some of those books left!)

Totally understandable. If you dive into East of West, let me know what you think! I've been reading it since issue #1 and I LOVE it!

Oh, the payoff here is... very long winded(?). I think it's getting there and when we get it all laid out it'll be cool, but I agree it's taking a bit of time. I know Gillen said that they're in the last arc (or two?) of the series, so we'll see it come together pretty soon, but it's been a long run.

I know that's okay for some people -- I'm cool with it, just like I'm cool with East of West being so goddamn long but constantly smouldering -- but I can also see why this would be... annoying? There's a lot of patience needed for a series like this and with everything else we may be reading, it can be like... "come on, get to it." I know I've been there with WicDiv before. I enjoy the book, but there have been a few issues where the tension or the dragged out response really, well, drags.

That being said, when the series hits and we get big pay offs? I always end up forgiving and forgetting those moments of "pain." Hell, they're worth it for those pay off moments. (Or at least that's how I justify things haha)

I've never read any Doctor Who comics, got any favorites--maybe for someone who's sort of new to Doctor Who (I started with the 2005 series)?

Despite not being a big Deadpool as of late, I would so read this--especially if Tom Taylor wrote it. Even a one-shot would be great.

Dude. YES. X-23 is not who Laura is. She is WOLVERINE. She is Laura Kinny. She is so much more than some designation on paper.

As for Gabby, it'll be interesting to see how she plays out in the new series. I see her continuing to be the comedic foil, but she has to grow in some capacity, right?

193869 I BLAZED through 僕のヒーローアカデミア 13 Boku No Hero Academia 13 when I snagged it from the library.

I also sat down and read a lot of the Physical singles I had:

- Uber: Invasion #8-13
- Sex Criminals #22-25
- Saga #50-53

Now... I need to tackle the last few weeks of digital issues I have...

193869 I'm gonna play to my expected answer and go with an X-Men Character: Wolverine's sidekick from the All-New Wolverine series, Honey Badger.

Rene (from the show) LOVES Tokyo Ghoul. Maybe I'll try it out once I catch up on Haikyu!!

Redneck wasn't a big seller for me, but Donny Cates is a fantastic writer. I loved Buzzkill and The Paybacks Volume 1: Payback's A Bitch
