193869 I read Claymore, Vol. 1: Silver-eyed Slayer over the weekend while travelling (a gift from Rene!), and I super loved it. It was one of the easiest manga I've read in a long while. Highly recommended if you're into light-fantasy, hack-and-slash type of stories.

I considered recording a mini-rant about this series... I read #5 and I have a whole LOT OF THOUGHTS about it.

193869 I got caught up on The Wild Storm (and The Wild Storm: Michael Cray). THIS. SHIT. IS. BANANAS.

I am seriously digging on what Warren Ellis is doing. It feels big like Planetary. The pieces are falling together, and The Wild Storm: Michael Cray rounded off in a PERFECT way.

Yeah, uh. I don't know what you're trying to say here, but there's no need to be rude to folks here.

WHOA. I don't think I know anyone else reading that series. I only read the first 4 volumes before I stopped.

193869 Another month, another batch of comics! What's been good? What's been not so good? Did you read anything spooky in October? How are you recovering in November?

What are your seasonal reading habits?

193869 What did you think of Abbott by Saladin Ahmed and Sami Kivela? Who was your favorite side character? Would you want to read more about this character?

Reminder: This discussion thread is FULL SPOILERS for Abbot!

AGH! I have all of Aaron's Thor comics, but I've only read the first two arcs of Thor: God of Thunder! I need to catch up!

193869 I just weapped 僕のヒーローアカデミア 14 Boku No Hero Academia 14 (MHA Vol 14) last night and... this series continues to get better every volume. I love the direction this story is going because it's not entirely predictable and I honestly respect that.

This series is fantastic.

I also finished Bleach, Vol. 74: The Death and the Strawberry. I had to see this series to the end. Nothing more to say there.

In the comics world, I caught up on Domino (the Domino Annual #1 was particularly really good). I've been seriously digging this book, and I definitely recommend it to for folks who aren't up on X-Men but want a fun X-Men book to read. It's super standalone.

I also (FINALLY) read Iceman #1 and I'm loving it. Sina Grace is amazing and Iceman is great. The end.

And I did get around to reading X-Men Blue #35-36--the end of the O5 story. It was a good ending. Everyone got a goodbye. Now ON TO EXTINCTION! (the series...)

Finally, I got caught up on Black Monday Murders and it continues to be a book I can only read it batches. It's dark and insane. I'm wondering if Hickman is going to end it at 12? It sure feels that way. I'm 100% okay with that. It's a good series that definitely warrants a reread once all of the issues are out.
193869 What did you think of Revival, Vol. 1: You're Among Friends? Was it spooky enough for you? What did you like? Were you creeped out a little bit?

Reminder: This discussion thread is FULL SPOILERS for volume 1! If you have read farther in the series, please be careful not to share spoilers for anything that happens after volume 1.

193869 I'm curious to know, what comic have you read in the last year or two that really surprised you story-wise, art-wise, twist-wise, character-wise, etc.?

193869 Slowly but surely catching up on Monster. Volume 14 (aka Volume 7) is on my desk at home ready to read (due at the Library tomorrow!!).
