185 Roman Fever? As the title indicates, it is set in Rome.

185 Maybe it's on this list?
185 The Sea of Trolls by Nancy Farmer maybe?

EDIT: Also, maybe check this troll list? https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/2...
185 I'm not sure this is it, but Fangirl is about a girl who starts college & meets a guy who has dyslexia.
185 Thank you Sue! That's definitely it. I'd mark this as solved, but I'm on the mobile site right now.
185 Maybe something on this list?
185 So this is a book I read as a kid, around the year 2000 or 2001. This book was older than that. I think it was written in the 1950s or 1960s, but it could have been older or newer than that (sorry, not much help there). The copy I read was old though - not a newly republished edition or anything like that.

From what I can remember of the story, it's about a family that moves to Greece because the father is some sort of scientist (zoologist, biologist, or maybe an entomologist?). I don't remember if the family was British or American. I think the family consists of a mother, father, (older?) sister, (younger?) brother and perhaps another sibling or two. I *think* it's from the boy's point of view. I don't remember much of the plot, except that it's about their time in Greece. It possibly was even a memoir and not fiction.

The one part I can remember well (because it was sort of gross, haha, and I was a kid) was a part when they all learn that they can't flush toilet paper because the plumbing can't handle it. The sister didn't pay attention to that and accidentally used already-used toilet paper. For some reason I think the sister's name might have been Meg, Megan, Margaret (or something like that). I could be 100% off on the name though.

I've read Charlotte Sometimes recently and the girl from the past doesn't come live (permanently) in the future.
185 A few possibilities:
One Moonlit Night
Surrender/Seduction
Whispers in the Night
The Magic of Love
The Haiti Circle

Also, is this a gothic romance, do you think?
185 Maybe Point Horror?
185 Definitely going to second The Great Good Thing. But it could also possibly be the sequel, Into the Labyrinth.
185 I found a couple older YA books with MCs named Julie. I'm not sure if they're the right one, but maybe (and you're sure her name was Julie and not like Julia or something, right?)

Wanted Date For Saturday Night
Going On Sixteen
185 Spoilers are ok to post! If you're worried, just add a spoiler tag.

185 I recently made a Listopia list about the Lowell Mills. Maybe it's on there.

Here are some suggestions though:
Call the Darkness Light
A Spirit to Ride the Whirlwind
Bright Promise
The Dwelling-Place of Light

185 Possibly the Hourglass Adventures by Barbara Robertson? The first book in the series is Rosemary Meets Rosemarie.
