185 Magic Attic Club? They had dolls too.

Other possibilities (though I don't know if any of them involved time travel) are Girls of Many Lands, Girlhood Journeys, Stardust Classics
185 Pansy, I made a list for you. Anything on here?

Worldcat has a list of all the libraries the book is at. Not too many, but maybe somewhere. I also realized that the The Encyclopaedia of School Stories is 2 volumes, one of them being the girls' one.

Anyway, I hope you find the book you're looking for! It looks like the Marjorie Dean series is on Project Gutenberg, so it should be easy to check it out! :] Good luck.
185 Is it any of them on this list? https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/7...
185 Maybe the Marjorie Dean series by Pauline Lester? There are three series (high school, college, & post-grad) with 14 books in total.
185 I found this really interesting book listed on Goodreads called The Encyclopaedia of School Stories: Volume 1: The Encyclopaedia of Girls' School Stories. I don't know if you could find a copy, but it might mention your series in there!
185 Maybe you can take a look at this list? And if it's not there, check out the authors on the list & view their other books - many of them were quite prolific.

Do you remember some other plot details? Girls' school stories were extremely popular in the early 20th century, so there are actually a lot of them out there!
185 No problem! I'm glad I could help :]
185 Any of the books on this list? https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/4...
185 Your description reminds me of E. Nesbit's The House of Arden.
185 I found a book on WorldCat called Jumping Jerusha. It says it's a fairy tale & it's around 100 pages, but beyond that, I can't find much information.
185 Was it definitely about a princess? Because the two MCs in Daddy-Longs-Legs by Jean Webster are named Jerusha (Judy) and Jervis. (sorry, I'd link but I'm on the mobile site)
185 You might want to check out this list.

A few questions though: what year did you read this book? And do you remember if we only follow the modern girl in the past, or does the story also contain the POV of the grandmother in the present? (and are you sure it was definitely her grandmother? not some other female relative?)
185 This probably isn't it, because these were more of YA books, but in the 80s Francine Pascal had a whole Caitlin series. first trilogy, second trilogy, third trilogy
