We can't call this feminism what she does really, to force any gender into the tight rules of the past (of which many still apply), that's anything but feminism.

I wouldn't say that this society is feminist at all. It's matriarchal, but not feminist. It's just the opposite of patriarchy!

To be honest, to see posters of the movie weeks earlier on tram stations and ad walls, now that is something I can only imagine HP or Twilight were able to do as well. Mind you, I live in Austria!

For me too, especially since you can give us a non-Europe-centric view on all of this. And I couldn't agree more with you, we need feminism. Oh, how much we need it!

Daniel Radcliffe got naked on stage for Equus, and as far as I remember there wasn't much outrage at all, as far as I remember it, I'm not really following Dan much. But then, he didn't declare himself a feminist before that, and I think that's where most of the criticism towards Emma comes from.
