Well, I better make some money loose and spend them, I really hope we can achieve the goal. We're now half in time, and half in money, it will be a very close run. I really hope we make it!

Robert, your "definition" of feminism is one of the most inclusive I have seen ever, I LOVE it.
Also, while it might be read that way, I didn't intend to speak for Emma, it's just what I see how she acts as a feminist.

There are still 55.000€ needed in order to get the Frauenvolksbegehren started. I really hope that the crowdfunding goal is met within the next two weeks, that's a case where I don't want my money back:(
I really don't want to see it destroyed because there couldn't be crowded enough money.

I seem to be a bit too young for the second question, I'm only twenty, and Austria definitely not famous for it's feminist waves, but let's see.
The challenge is accepted!

There are many ways to achieve political, economic and social equality of the sexes.
Listen to Emma's UN speech in 2014, I think that makes great content for a speech, or maybe you can find Hillary Clinton's speech somewhere that Emma mentions.
Maybe this from Gloria Steinem:
http://fortune.com/2015/12/22/gloria-... From 2015, but I think it's still relevant today:)
Have fun writing that speech. Maybe you wanna share it with us here? I guess most would want to read it:)

That's what needs to be taken into consideration.

"One hard fact:
The one main award at the Oscars that is gender neutral, Best Director, has, since its inception, attracted only 4 female nominees and only 1 ..."
Change, although it's slow, is definitely on its way in my opinion!

I am Valerie from Austria, 20 years old and a vivid fan of Emma since ten years:)
She made me realize that I am a feminist when she gave her UN speech, which probably is the case for many of us here! (Sorry, I didn't read all the former entries, it's just so much!)
I consider myself to be an intersectional feminist, or postmodern feminist that's what it's called too.
Some of you have grown to be my friends and I would miss OurSharedShelf so much, would it ever close its doors.
As far as it goes for Iran, I've never been there, but as far as I know a certain issue would be easier for me to handle there than here in Austria.

I think Emma shares most of her beliefs with liberal feminists, but I think that does not mean that she just cares about white, midddle-class women. Look at the books we read, some of them obviously had other issues at stake to discuss than what normally white,middle-class women would read.
And have you seen the picture from the women's march where she hugs a muslim girl? I think she tries to think of everyone, it's just not so easy because if humanity is anything, it's diverse. And she also said that she still has a lot to learn, so I think she's definitely on the right track. It's just her means that are different, she wants equality for all.
Maybe it's a good idea to have a topic of its own for the different kinds of feminism, what they have in common and how they differ from each other?

I don't know either, relax:)

Oh My GOODNESS, I never knew they had a song named that. Uh, now that's some information to digest. Boll*cks and Sex Pistols", ouch:)

..."
Well, not really. I think we don't have feminist politicians except for maybe Eva Glawischnig, the head of the Green party.

I'm definitely going to read that, we read her diary in school and yes, she definitely was a feminist in her own way. I think it's really interesting that she wrote her diary in Dutch, although her mother tongue was German (or did I miss something completely here?)

Second, since I came to the conclusion that I wish gender EDIT: expectations would be obsolete, and we would just all be treated with human beings, I think it's the perfect award.
It actually includes everyone, and trans and non-binary and all the other people can now finally say they are welcome.
She smashed it when she mentioned sex, yay, intersex people are included too.

I think he'd answer in one way or the other.

That's not news, but did you also miss her political statement?
Me too:

Definitely a shoutout to her too!

I LOVE HER TO PIECES!

I think that it's worth watching for two reasons:
It's educational about Native American's issues and how they are diverse and not all the same.
For me, she is a wild woman, she definitely knew how to be heard.
It's 1:49 long, ah, I LOVE that movie:)
