I wouldn't say "too much", but this is definitely hard to read and there should be a warning. This monologue made me so sad for ..."
The "too much" depends on what the individual had to endure. Well, now you know the sad truth about how intersex children are treated.

About the pictures...

You simply nailed it! Now that Gloria endorsed it, I can definitely watch it! It's feminist for sure:)
About the pictures:
Well, everything is said already, and you nailed it!

Fair question, I'm sure the same theatre owner refused to show "Fried Green Tomatoes", "Boys on the Side" (probably had a minor stroke over "Desert of the Hearts") a..."
To answer this with a quote that I came across on Youtube:
Ach du scheiße, haben wir da wieder jemanden mit einem mikroskopisch kleinen Weltbild? :D
Translation: Holy shit, do we have here somebody with a microscopic small view of the world again. (Oh, I had to laugh so much when I first read it.)
Conclusion: Some people can't stand anything that is "other."

You're absolutely right! Marx fled to Paris after the revolution, and finally landed in England. I asked my professor the question about communism and the Sowietunion, and she said that this was not at all what Marx intended communism to be. Marx also speaks of the bourgeoisie(wuh, you definitely have a tricky language).
But the sociologists who explored elite and mass were actually in Italy. Their thoughts are quite interesting, especially when it comes to causes of inequality.

maybe the good reception for the film may elevate some of the fears that led to a back..."
Is there anything that you do NOT know about Emma;)?
I LOVE that there's a gay character in it, it's still not common today, at least not in Austria.
Why do people give backlash if they haven't even seen the movie yet?! That doesn't make sense.

I couldn't have said it better. There are even some individuals out there who identify as postgender, so the gender binary is definitely obsolete. I'm not saying it's bad per se, but we have to acknowledge that gender is a spectrum, instead of two opposing ideals. And that what was very specifically related to one gender in the past now isn't anymore. And that we have the possibility to choose, we do not have to be forced into a gender role, we can kind of choose it.

That's easy. You just have to click at reply, and the quoted words will be at the very top of the commenting field. Then you can place it within the comment just as you like. You can do that as often as you wish to do so.
A very important topic, in my opinion.

That is certainly the truth, among all nations and across a variety of issues! What's on paper doesn't always equal reali..."
My mom actually told me a few days after I wrote that comment that Austria has one of the highest wage gaps within the EU - I can't believe it! And there are some other issues that need to be adressed, from my perspective it's mostly awareness-raising that needs to be done.
I don't say it's really bad when it comes to equality in Austria, but there are still quite a few issues that need to be adressed.
I was so glad when I read on Twitter about the Istanbul convention and asked the account whether Austria had already ratified it, and they wrote back within a few minutes that Austria had done that already some years ago. (With other issues we need ages and only the fact that otherwise we have to pay a fine we then do it:( )

Ok, so if you don't use money, then trading? So a potluck is also considered 'elitism' ;)

Hm, the interesting thing Marx said tho, is that in communism and in the primitive society. Now, it would make way more sense to argue with another concept, the concept that there is always an elite because after a revolution the revolutionists become the new elite (at least some of them, think about communism as it was in the Sowietunion).

In my opinion the so called "feminists" made it a feminist issue.
I was just thinking: Woohoo, now that pushes the boundaries! (And I always love that!)

It's sad that the wolf is dead, but I'm glad that there is now proof that they are back:)

Ooh, I'd like to read that book!

It's an interesting art..."
You have a good point here. That's reducing her to one issue instead of acknowleding all that she did and that is written about in the article. Such a response is not feminist at all.

Thanks so much for that quick research:)
I actually got mine from the library right now, I can't wait to get started on it. Maybe today, at least tomorrow:)

I noticed that too! I'm asking myself the same!

172.720 members as of March 2nd, 2017!
100.000 members as of February 3rd, 2016!
difference: 72.720 members:)
time elapsed: 27 days plus 365 days. Makes 392 days in total!
72.720 divided by 392: 185,5...
Let that sink in! Since we were hitting 100.000 members in the beginning of February last year, we were growing by 185,5 members PER DAY! THAT IS AMAZING!

I just wish it would be more inclusive, and get the facts right.

When I saw the photos I just thought: Uuh, she's pushing the boundaries again!
And I love her for that!

I can only say the same, translations are really bad at times. And I LOVE English!

P.S.: I don't have a problem with naming any of the female sex organs, but I do have a problem with naming the male ones.
