Seeing her hiding books must be awesome:)

We have a bucket list of European cities we are slowly working our way through and we always use the public transport systems to get about. Plenty of good ones for book hiding, but V..."
Cool, maybe we can convince Emma to book-ninja in Vienna?

From what I have read, this is an issue for women from all walks of life.

I totally agree with you - every human who gets their period shall be covered.

Yes, we spent 7 days in Vienna 2 Christmas's ago.
Did the whole tourist thing - even Sasha Torte at the Sasha Hotel :)"
mmh, Sacher Torte is yummy:)
Wow, you've spent more time in Vienna than I did. I need to go to the capital again:)

Yes, that was awesome. I don't know what she said in French tho... But her French sounds awesome:)

Why not Austria. Vienna is a beautiful city with a great public transport system. What better than reading Handmaid's Tale going round the Ringst..."
The average woman in Austria is 5'5'', wow, I'm so tall. But no one is as beautiful AND intelligent as Emma.

We only need the number of the people from the village I grew up in (okay, a bit more), and then we have 200.000 members.
They sure will come! When a wolf calls, the pack answers!

she looks amazing and so happy with the fans, lucky lucky fans :)"
You have a point here, you can't even get her to London...:(

Hmmmmmm

Ok then

*Thinks "Why God? Why?*"
Well, there are many ways to stay positive, that is just one of them:)

Why not Austria. Vienna is a beautiful city with a great public transport system. What better than reading Handmaid's Tale going round the Ringstrasse on a tram?"
Well, while I definitely agree with you on that one, I still think she won't easily come here. Although, she could also do book-ninjaing in the Prater, or the underground:)
Have you been to Vienna?

"Oh, and so my girlfriend and I used to say: We're going to go bicycling according to our chromosomes."
I think something like that is funny. At least when you know that doctors do all weird stuff "because of your chromosomes" and you just need to stay positive.

Maybe she'll do it in London again one time and you can catch a copy...
I doubt she'll ever come to Austria. Unless she visits the UN:)

I only had one time when I was in Vienna that a woman told me a very good joke, that wasn't even sexist... or, it might have been sexist, but we still both had to laugh because that one literally screwed the sex binary:)

You can still try it in the Pay-It-Forward topic. Maybe someone can send their copy to you:)

Chelsea Manning came out of prison on IDAHOT(International Day Against Transphobia), how fitting:)

Not as far as I can remember. But then, I've seen it on February 16th, so it's been a while.

That's why I said "keep it civil". I didn't say it wasn't civil.

Language influences us on so many levels, and I agree with you, that might be the biggest factor when it comes to the inequalities between the sexes. Language shapes our way of thinking.
