On a second side note, he played Paul Schäfer in Colonia Dignidad alongside Emma. It's sad to hear he passed away.
Oh, Lena is definitely a strong woman:)

Remember, if you're intersex, there are always people out there who are like you and you can connect with them.

And you can let feminism bloom in yourself, eveyone can, if we acknowledge the potential it has.
And last, but not least: Welcome in the family!

Meerderwörter actually replied to that.

Okay, so you say I should always give them a twenty-minute lesson? I can't do that all the time.

If you watch it, they mention the child having 70% male chromosomes (at least that's what I heard). That's called mosaicism, and I actually read a fiction book recently with a character who also has mosaicism.
One really sees here how complicated all of that is when there is so much secrecy around it.
Turner syndrome and mixed genital dysgenesis, I didn't even know the two could go together. Now that I know that, I feel stupid to not have thought about it earlier. Well, there's always something new to learn.
I love how he says its a perfect child:)

(I couldn't find that whole episode on the drphil website)
I just hope they don't go too much into doctor's talk, that'll confuse everyone....

Like, when it comes to words we really, really need to be careful. And then we have to be especially careful when it comes to the word "disorder". It might be a good word to describe something else, but with intersex issues that is just so condescending.

Yeah, and people with green eyes have a disorder too. I understand. No, for real!

(As I said, I thought it's a heterosexual thing to do, but then I really tackled my cissexism and am now somewhat free of it)

I know Laure, but wasn't the point of Kinsey, or isn't it a general point that is being made by the encounters? I'm totally on your side, I know who I am attracted to and to whom I am not. Well, I guess it must have been a heterosexual person who came up with the encounter idea. (And I don't have anything against heterosexual people, but it just seems a thing to do for a heterosexual person)

Nope. Nope. And nope. Meerworder you are not being logic her..."
I actually learned that in university, so I have to tell you it is correct. She might have worded it differently, but that does not mean that she can't start with the conclusion at the beginning.

Georgios, it is perfectly valid to begin with the conclusion. Sometimes it's easier to follow the argument then.
Robert, what you say really reminds of just how much heteronormativity there is in the Western societies. Like, there are so many queer animals and yet for nearly centuries it was believed they were all heterosexual. Quite a surprise, isn't it?
