thoughts while reading:Sansa seems to be a dreamer in her own way. Arya and Sansa grew up hearing the same stories. Arya ended up wanting to BE the knight/fighter/hero whereas Sansa was wooed by the romance of it and wants to be WITH the knight/fighter/hero.
I think the Hound tells her because he waznts her to know that being a knight isn't at all like they sing in the songs-not all knights are good people. (view spoiler)

That's kind of what I thought, but at one point Ned & the girls go to the godswood to pray in Kings Landing and it's an oak.

It's probably not even that important though. Just something confusing I noticed. lol

I think Alliser could be jealous of Jon-he's a really good fighter and doesn't let him be as much of a bully.

If Tyrion (supposedly) planned this attack on Bran-why would he help him now?
Bran's dreams are so based in reality. Gargoyles that could have been lions on a tower he's climbing? hmm...
thoughts while reading:ugh Viserys is cray!! Not exactly a fan of him. It is nice to see Dany step up and stick up for herself.

That's definitely a possibility. Also-he did fight against Ned/Robert during the war. Part of it too? Idk.

I feel like you can really tell Jon is a teenager-a little bit petulant. lol

I decided to buy a physical copy again since it's been hard for me to keep up with the ebook. It should be here tomorrow so hopefully I can get caught up by the end of the month!
*How is everyone making out? I am definitely behind schedule. I am re-reading this with an ebook since I don't have my physical copy anymore and for some reason that's slowing me down.

So far I'm definitely enjoying it! I've read the first three and liked them all so it's nice to be able to discuss them this time around.

George R.R. Martin is awesome. With the three eyed crow basically giving Bran a third eye.... hmm... lol
I wonder why he chose the name Summer for his direwolf. Because he wants a little bit of summer in what seems to be a really bad winter?
thoughts while reading:I feel like Arya staying hidden for 4 days is pretty impressive.
You can start to see that the Lannisters are not fond of the Starks.
I love how Joffrey has to embellish the story so he doesn't look completely weak/helpless. lol
Ugh, I so don't like Cersei! Poor Sansa and Lady. :( And poor Mycah! The people who support the Lannisters are kind of mean and messed up. Just sayin.
