1. Would coloring the prompts indicating that prompt is completed cause confusion later when we are building that amusement for the second time? What do you think? I don't know. We can try it to see if it helps.

"Would it be possible to color the completed tasks on the plan tab too?'
Great going Jen K. Good question. We shouldn't need to color the completed tasks on the plan tab. Once a book is completed & placed on the completed tab delete that book from the plan tab. Does this make sense? By removing completed books from the plan tab we make room for other books that are TBR or In Progress. That way the user isn't going through a lot of completed books to see what prompts are still needed to be filled. The completed books on the plan tab throw off the number of books that fit a prompt. Having a dedicated tab for finished books unclutters the plan tab.

"I can update the sheet but it will have to be later. It seems like updating it on phone requires magic I don’t have."
Thank You Lynette. We have a completed tab now. If you see anything that needs cleaning up or updating that sounds fine. I know when I moved my column some of the boxes got out of shape. I tried what I know to do but it didn't help. If you can fix that I would appreciate it. I agree the phone app doesn't let you do much. You can read & reply. That's about it.

I finished The Best American Travel Writing 2021 last night. I will finish Any Way the Wind Blows today. We have read 971 pages so we are close to our first hot dog stand. Good Luck everyone.

I did highlight in blue the amusement & prompts completed in the amusement tabs. See if that helps . When you complete a task highlight in blue the prompt & ride. If you're not comfortable doing it let us know & someone will be happy to do it.

There are so many ways we can work the spreadsheet. Below are different options. Read through them & let us know what works for you. The majority wins. If you have done it differently & it works please let us know.
1. Under the plans tab once a book is marked completed & placed in the correct attractions tab prompt the book is deleted. This cuts down on clutter & length under the plans tab.
2. We color code completed books but leave them on the plans tab.
3. We create a completed tab where you log your completed reads. We highlight the attraction & prompt it was used for.
I have thoughts for the attraction tabs also.
1. We use a color to highlight the prompt & the book used. This makes it easier to see what prompts are completed & what prompts need to be fulfilled.
Let me know your suggestions & thoughts.

2. Are there any books you're dying to start or finish? I started Any Way the Wind Blows. Last week I put it aside with 150 pages left thinking it would be a good book for the read-a-thon.
3. Are you participating in the team or individual challenges? Both challenges.
4. Where will you be doing most of your reading? The sofa in the living room.
5. Is there anything that's going to stand in the way of your reading this week? Let us cheer you on! Nothing is standing in the way that I know of right now.

Spreadsheet Info:
In case anyone here is new to these spreadsheets, I thought I'd give some info.
First off, if anyone doesn't want to fill out the spreadsheet themselves, make sure you ask to have someone update it.
There are 7 tabs across the bottom of the spreadsheet. The first 6 are for recording what you have read and the last one is for planning.
Hot Dog Stand Tracking:
Your names are already added across the top. Each day, you can add pages read and hours listened in your column.
Splash Pad - Roller Coaster:
Once a book is done, you'll slot it into a cell on one of these tabs.
Plans:
Each column is for a book you have read, are reading, or are planning to read. Add book title, your name, and indicate status. Then put an x in each row that has a prompt your book could fit. Column C adds up the number of options, and this helps us choose where to put a book.
- People don't always get to all books in the spreadsheet. I usually remove it if I know I'm not going to read it, but leave it there if there's a good chance or to help me choose which book to read next.
- I will likely end up moving books that are finished so the # of options is accurate for what hasn't been read yet. This is just how my brain works.
If any questions, please ask!!
