174195 I finished August then came to a screeching halt on prompt # 39 for September. I got notification this morning that after two weeks the book I put on hold for prompt #39 is in. I can get moving again on the challenge until I hit another brick wall.
August
# 34 A book with an academic setting or with a teacher that plays an important role. The Secret History by Donna Tartt. 5 stars. There are a lot of excellent choices for this prompt but I have wanted to read this book for years.
# 35 2 books related to flora and fauna. Finding the Mother Tree by Suzanne Simard. 5 stars.
September
#36 2 books related to flora and fauna. World of Wonders: In Praise of Fireflies, Whale Sharks, and Other Astonishments by Aimee Nezhukumatathil. 5 stars.
# 37 A book that uses all five vowels in the title … The House at the Edge of Night by Catherine Banner. 4 stars
#38 A book by a Latin American author. Olga Dies Dreaming by Xochitl Gonzalez. 5 stars. One of my favorite books of 2022.

174195 For a book by an author who is still writing but not the author’s latest release a series will work.

174195 I second “ A book by an author who is still writing but not his/her latest book”

174195 To add to the discussion on the light/dark prompt I’m viewing this as an opposites
Prompt. Light/dark are opposites.

174195 For a different challenge this year I had to do a palindrome title & onomatopoeia title. The palindrome was easier for me. I gave up on the onomatopoeia title & used wow, no thank you. It was the closest I could get.

174195 I seconded #13 A book to which you don’t have instant access because I’m always waiting on books. Hardbacks, paperbacks, ebooks. Doesn’t matter. I would of finished the Read Harder challenge 2 months ago but I’m waiting on 2 hardbacks. I’m waiting now for my next ATY read which will be two weeks. I’ve learned to look ahead at prompts & see how far out the books are.

174195 I second A book to which you didn’t have instant access.

174195 I agree with Dalex. There is a lot of fiction written by politicians or co-authored with famous writers. For example, The President is missing by Bill Clinton and James Patterson. State of Terror by Hillary Rodham Clinton and Louise Penny. While Justice Sleeps by Stacey Abrams. This suggestion is growing on me because there is a lot of diversity here.
