174195 I like the fiction and non-fiction prompt about the same subject. I just finished a non-fiction Finding the Mother Tree: Discovering the Wisdom of the Forest. The fiction read could be The Overstory. This prompt could be a biography/memoir paired with a biography fiction on the same person.

174195 I read The Secret History. It took me long enough to read this book. Every year I thought I would get to it but have been pushing it aside for awhile. I did enjoy it. 5 stars.

174195 Whoop Whoop I have made it 6 months. I think I can do this for the next six months. I finished July & have read 3 prompts into August. I'm currently reading The Secret History for # 34 A book with an academic setting or with a teacher that plays an important role. I'm enjoying the book.
July:
27. 2 Books with the same word in the title. What If It's Us
28. A book from the Powell's list of book awards. The Great
Believers
. I enjoyed this book.
29. Set near a body of water. Malibu Rising. I could have used this book for a few different prompts but it worked great here. I read it in a day. I owned the book so added points for me.
30. A book related to mythology. Kaikeyi. I owned this book too. I got it to use for this prompt knowing nothing about it. It was very good.
August:
31. A book published at least 10 years ago. Home
32. A female detective... In This Grave Hour. I waited all year to read the next book in this series.
33. The next book in a series. [book:The Hollywood Spy|55655064
I have caught up on this series for now. I'm sad.

174195 I was very happy to see Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow byGabrielle Zevin among the July choices. I’ve read good things about it. This is my July pick.

1. A winner or nominee from the 2021 Goodreads Choice Awards
2. A book published in 2022
3. A book you wanted to read in 2021
4. A book that fits a suggestion that didn't make the list this year
5. A book connected to something you read in 2021
6. A book posted in one of the ATY Best Book of the Month threads in 2021 or 2022
Just a few of my thoughts. I think they are fine.
1. I like the GR Choice Awards winner or nominee from 2021 because there are always books on there I wanted to read or own. I do miss the write in option for the awards but never felt a write in got chosen. If you do more than one reading challenge some version of this prompt is usually in another challenge.
2. A book published in 2022 is another prompt that is in other challenges so I will be doing this prompt any way.
3/5 seem close to each other for me.
4. A prompt that didn't make the list is a good time to read about birds, bees, bunnies, books with something from a song in them, etc.
6. I'm always looking for book recommendations.

174195 I like a book published in 2023. I also like a book inspired by something you read in 2022. The wording can be changed to what works best for the group. This prompt has a lot of possibilities. It could be your newest favorite author you discovered in 2022. It could be a book based on an article you read in 2022. It could be your new favorite genre.

174195 I read Malibu Rising. 5 stars. I read it in a day.
174195 I read The Great Believers. 5 stars

174195 Thank You Emily.

174195 I was wondering if The Great Believers would work for the era prompt? It began in 1985 with the AIDS crisis following a group of men until 2015. It covers the AIDS crisis in the early years into 2015. Past & present AIDS. I read the comment above about the era prompt but wanted to ask about this book. Time jumps in the book.

174195 I would appreciate opinions on this month’s books. I don’t recognize the authors & nothing is jumping out at me. I’m thinking about skipping this month. Are there any books here you are excited about?

174195 I like a book related to Disney's 100 year anniversary. I would finally read Alexander Hamilton because it is playing on Disney +. You could read all sorts of Star War novels. It would include all the Disney songs & movies. Think Thumper. The bunnies would get a chance. You could read a biography on Walt Disney. There is something for everyone here.

174195 That’s the best news Emily. Congratulations..

174195 I have completed June & the first prompt of July. I'm back to waiting on books to arrive from the library.
20. A Fiction or non fiction book that is set during 1900-1951. The Personal Librarian. I enjoyed the book. I didn't know anything about Bella da Costa Green.
21. A book with one of the Monopoly tokens on the cover. Come Fly the World: The Jet-Age Story of the Women of Pan Am. A nostalgic read for me.
22. A book with a Jewish character or author. An Unorthodox Match. I enjoy the heritage month reads.
23. A book that features a loving LGBTQIA+ relationship. Any Way the Wind Blows. I think this series is over. I really liked it.
24. A book related to inclement weather. Migrations
25. A book with less than 220 pages or more than 440 pages. Memorial Drive: A Daughter's Memoir
26./ 27.2 books with the same word in the title - book 1. What If It's Us. The Truth According to Us. I didn't like The Truth According to
Us
. I got mad at Fleix, Jottie & Willa.
