I just found out about the Suchet zoom event, and though it´s past, you can still re-watch it for 5£.

Oops, I didn´t catch that, thanks! :)

Great to have some historical fiction here too, thanks Susan!

Thanks Judy, I got that too. Never heard of her though.

Finished it today, and liked it, though I guessed many incidents like the wrong person being shot in the beginning, the practice on sheep, the poison etc, and also that the doctor was in it (first time because of the clock). Nonetheless the persons were well described, and the co-work of Meredith and Long appealed too. Also loved that archery was involved, as I did it a bit myself.

Good to know, thanks Susan! :)

Pity it´s not a deal here.

I already read this, and it wasn´t to my taste, but hope to comment.

This collection sounds good too! I loved the Railway mysteries collection.

I loved The Fatal Flying Affair!
Judy wrote: "Just noticed there is a dramatisation of one of the Shardlake books, Lamentation by C.J. Sansom, starting on Monday on BBC Radio 4 - there will be 20 15-minute episod..."Sounds good, thanks Judy! :)

I got me Word Perfect, as it sounded like something a non-Native English speaker could need. :)
Sandy wrote: "From memory (I can't test it as I have already voted) it is really easy to vote without meaning to if you click on the box intending to look at the book."That happened to me in the beginning, but you can always change your vote.

Thanks, got the Cyril Hare books! Pity the first Pettigrew isn´t included in the sale.

Re The Thin Man, my parents liked the series, so will have a look.
The Thursday Murder Club is obviously very famous atm, as I couldn´t even easily buy it... had to order in the UK. Hope it´s worth it! :)

I found this really good! Reminded me of the 1976 film "Murder by Death", which I found hilarious. I wondered how the end would turn out, and found it a bit disappointing. The additions were unnecessary, though I liked the idea that the professionals once won over the amateurs in Edward´s solution.
I preferred Sheringham´s solution, as I thought from the beginning that perhaps the victim was the right one, and the chocolates weren´t intended for Sir Eustace at all. I confess though that his throwing the chocolates at Bendix was highly suspicious.
I also liked the different characters and their banter, which made the read quite funny.

He´s new to me too, and after the first chapters I´m curious how it will turn out. I think so far they missing something out...

Finished the audiobook, and found the story quite confusing with too many people, at least when listening. I also didn´t like the voice Emilia Fox had for Frankie, so high-pitched and childish. Perhaps I´ll try the print once my library will open again.
