I listened to Under the Dome on audio (from the library) & it was great. It's such a big book I didn't think I could hold it while I was readying it. :)
I will have to think about this one! I just started the True Blood series of books for something light when I was out of town.
I love historical fiction. Phillips Gregory is a great author for this category. I have read many of her books.
I am listening to Halo on CD. It's a twist on the whole vampire thing because it's an angel & a human. Reading The 100 to the children (from the tv series) & also reading a Maya Banks book that is mindless since this is our crazy week of kids camps.
For the challenge, I am reading Shutter Island. Loving it so far. I read The One over the weekend & thought it wrapped up nicely.

I like Clive Cussler. One of his series, the main character is named after his son I believe.

The big action scenes only took up a few pages, which seemed kind of quick, but it's more about the relationships than the action.
Busy here with school and activities coming to a close so I wanted to read some mindless books to take my mind off everything. I picked some Maya Banks books & boy was than an education. I had no idea. Now I am back to traditional books so for the June challenge I am reading Shutter Island. I loved the movie with Leonardo Decaprio and thought it was just a screenplay. I was super excited to see it on the library shelves!

For some reason, I am not in the mood for any of the books I had thought about reading. Think I need to read a mindless book just to have something light to read until I figure out what's next.
Last night I finished my first Maya Banks book & I don't even know how to comment on it. I'm listening to Wicked in my car. I read the books nine years ago, but want a refresher.
Ihurst@aol.com finished Toys by James Patterson and another book i read with my son. I haven't gotten into anything new yet.
This week I am reading The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon by Stephen King & also listening to Toys by James Patterson.

Next up is, of course, the sequel Fly Away, and I am going to read "Flowers in the Attic" for my May ..."I retread the Flower in the Attic books too. I was so young when I read them that I wanted to see what I thought of them now that I am older. They were still really good.
Last night I finished Ender's Game at 3:00 A.M. I really liked it & also didn't see the end coming. I want to retread the last 1/4 of the book now that I know the ending since I will have a different perspective when I read it. Just started the book Sent with the children. Book 2 is the Missing series by Haddix.
I can be ahead in the May challenge since I am finishing Ender's Game. I also enjoyed. The Maze runner for people looking for movie books. Jane Eyre could be one I retread for the challenge in May too. My favorite book. The stories by Margaret Peterson Haddix, that I am reading to my children, have been good reads if you need to read on the 5th grade level to any of your children. Lol.
