Brush up your Shakespeare (Completed)

I'm taking stock of what I hope to do for the rest of the year, and decided it's time to get on board with some Shakespeare. I can't let myself miss out on the 400th anniversary! I haven't read any since a Shakespeare course I took in college, which was so much fun. But there's plenty left that I haven't read yet.

I'm going to aim for a comedy, a tragedy, and I'll see how far I can get with the sonnets. I like how you all have been spreading the sonnets out, so I plan to do something like that too.

I decided to read the series in chronological order, so this is my 4th, I think. I've really been enjoying them so far. I think Vor Game is supposed to be one of the best, so I'm looking forward to it!

I finished my first book, The Tea Rose, for my library fine (Genre of the month, LGBT). Rolled 11 to land on a railroad (travel ahead). I'm planning to read The Vor Game or Carpe Diem for this move.

I would find it so hard to pace myself, Vero!

I'm glad it's working out for you, Clare. That would also be my most dreaded space to land on, lol.

Go Jenny!!

I remember the days when I had to make emergency book store runs! Especially when in the middle of a series and I couldn't find the sequel, it was torture sometimes. If you're doing physical books, 30 sounds way better than 3 in that scenario. Now that I'm doing ebooks, I won't have that problem anymore. I am swimming in books! (and so happy)

Finished Level 1! I had to work for that last one (The Tea Rose), but it ended up being good.

One potential I have is The Sea King's Daughter, set on a Greek island.

I could use some more suggestions for this one. I'd like to read something that really feels like being at the beach since I'm landlocked here in Colorado! Any recommendations?
