I'm glad to hear that, Mickey. I was also overwhelmed there for a while. This is a slow one, but we can get there!

Leslie, congrats! That's awesome! That's where I'm hoping to get to as well. I think I have a couple years' worth of reading first, but I'm doing much better at not buying new, so at least I'm not making it worse.

Everyone's making so much progress! I almost managed to finish my first book last night, For the King's Favor. Could not keep my eyes open any longer!

I'm 200 pages (38%) into For the King's Favor by Elizabeth Chadwick. I thought it was going to be way more dense but I'm flying through it!

Ooooh. My sympathies! I usually end up reading something I know will be kind of blah for those cases, just so I don't ruin something good and to try to begin moving on. Or if that doesn't work, I take drastic measures and re-read the book.

Book hangover! Also when you find it hard to start a new book because you don't want to leave the old one behind yet.
