We're just about halfway through the year! What have been your favourites of the books you've read so far in 2014?
Renee wrote: "I have a whole summer plan, that this genre doesn't easily fit. I'd go with something uniquely American, if Anyone has a suggestion. Otherwise I'm thinking about these..."It's funny, but I found the book Utopia pretty darn dystopian. ;)

How do you do that Faye????..."I'll be honest - sometimes I fail. ;)

Great looking list! It looks like you could almost double your goal and still achieve it!
I love that you're reading in more than one language, too. I'm trying to reach a point with French where I can read French literature, but thus far I've only managed children's books, heh.

I work at home, so I see my beautiful stack of books sitting right there looking all tempting and stuff while I'm trying to work. It's so haaaard!!

We used to live in and near Angus (several different houses), and remember a few storms which "might" have been tornados. It's pretty scary when it really happens. How close were you to the touch-down? "Poor Angus! My brother lives near there (Collingwood), but I live a fair distance away, west of Toronto. We just got the rain and high winds.
