Has anyone read Gerald's Game by him? It was really cheap at my library, so thought I'd get it. Opinions? It seems to be one of King's shorter novels, which aids my horrendous widget telling me I'm 16 books behind...

Hi all,

Both Faye and I have realised that the group has become a bit quieter over the last few months, with less people taking part in the group reads and discussions. Although I can't moan at the dedicated group that seem to continually post here! :)

We were just wondering if there was anything people want to see to get the discussions up and running again. The Mini Challenges have been marvellously popular.

Whether it's a new idea or a suggestion in changing how we're running things, any comments would be wonderful. We want to make the group the best it can be, so hopefully things will start picking up again!

Just finished the two sequels to The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials and The Death Cure. Had a monster day of reading yesterday!

Now I have to decide what books to take on holiday with me. Decisions, decisions!

I might stay away from The Normal Heart then!

I'm 18 books behind, its going to be hard to catch up. Then again, looking at my reading lists for the first semester, there's gonna be a lot of reading! Perhaps I'll still make 100 this year!

I've been sitting here for 5 minutes going through books that aren't on this list.

Well, I'm stumped!

So sorry I've been so absent recently! Summer has been far more hectic than I imagined (I've basically hardly read!).

In better news though, I had my birthday and got into my first choice Uni!! So it's been a manic week sorting everything out for university.

I am about to go on holiday for 2 weeks, which is basically two weeks of reading solidly. So I should be around a lot more!

I hope everyones reading is going well.

Lord of the Flies is a really amazing book. Sat for hours and didn't move. Finished it in one sitting!

I finished Book Three, Part 1 the other day. Really really enjoyed it!

Just finished A Storm of Swords Part 1, chuffed with myself that I got it done so quick. Loving the series!

Still horrendously behind! I really need to get my head down and read.

I heard about The Normal Heart ages ago, but didn't realise it's content or significance. I might watch it, depending on if I feel I can deal with the story again!

And, like you, I loved Bill Kraus! Amazing man!

I'm hoping to fit this in within them last few days of the month!
