I saw load of discussion on Tumblr about it, and the fact its from Leia's perspective made me really interested!

And I bought Station Eleven not long ago, but it's been on my to read list forever. It sounds so interesting!
118012 I've finally finished with my essays, so I can't wait to fully immerse myself in reading again and push myself to catch up!

Planning to read:
Bloodline by Claudia Gray
Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel
Running the Books: The Adventures of an Accidental Prison Librarian by Avi Steinberg
Letters to a Young Poet by Rainer Maria Rilke
118012 Meghan, that sounds likes a great idea! The point of the readathon isn't to limit what you read, but instead motivate and push you! So reading books you didn't manage to finish sounds a great idea!

It's ultimately all about what you want to get off your to-read list, so go for it!

118012 April Badges are now up!
118012 Roseanne, I'd definitely recommend it! It's an interesting book, very well written. And the style is great. It does take a bit to get into though!

And Elizabeth, (view spoiler)

118012 Another month gone and more books read!

This is a thread for you to discuss what you read in the last month. Is there anything that you'd utterly recommend? Or something that really sparked your interest and surprised you?

118012 Margie, you are so organised! That is insane!

118012 This is definitely going to be a great motivation!

Might not get 3 chunksters done though!
118012 For delving back in time, we're going to be reading Alison Weir's Innocent Traitor.

Focusing on the wonderful figure of Lady Jane Grey, and the tumultuous time of the sixteenth century, it sounds like a wonderful exciting novel! (and we can learn a bit of history along the way!

Discussion starts 1st May.

If anyone wants to be discussion leader, and post questions and topics to discuss, don't hesitate to put yourself foward!
118012 We read this a long time ago in the group, but it's a wonderful book to revisit!

The Perks of Being A Wallflower has been a popular YA title recently, with the 2012 film and it's recent boost into bestseller status!

Discussion starts 1st May.

If anyone wants to be discussion leader, and post questions and topics to discuss, don't hesitate to put yourself forward!
118012 (This thread has such a long title...)

118012 There isn't exactly a 'right' way of doing these challenges, Celia. We work on a very open basis, and ultimately the challenges are for you, not for us. The 3 challenges do have a bit more structure to them. But feel free to do it how you want to do it.

118012 Hi Celia,

The point is that there is a focus on each month. So therefore, books that are read that follow the focus would count. And that should answer your second question.

As for your last, it's based on what you would like to read, yes! Of course, nominations often vary between things people have read and recommend and books people want to read. Polls are generally more focused on the question: what do you want for the group read. So, obviously, if you'd recommend it then obviously you may want to vote for it. But the primary focus is on what you would like TO read.

118012 Ankit, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is such a great book!

118012 Hi everyone,

As you may have known, we've had the recent departure of both Faye and Kassandra from our Moderator team. Unfortunately, life just gets in the way sometimes!

Therefore, with just me and Renee left running the group, we're looking for a new moderator to join our ranks!

We're really looking for someone who has exciting new ideas to keep the group evolving, and someone who frequently uses the group. It is a small time commitment, but what really matters is passion and the ability to fit in and work with us fellow mods!

If you're interested, send either me or Renee a short message including:
- Why you want to be a moderator
- Things you'd like to see changed/developed
- Any new ideas you have

If you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to pop me a message. Even if it's something silly!

There's no particular deadline, but sooner rather than later would be great!

Ides of March

(I definitely need to get into a better routine of making these!)

Picked it up from a second hand bookshop and rather intrigued.
