118012 I made the mistake of going to a charity bookshop, and Heffers in Cambridge (which is like the nicest bookshop ever). Which resulted in me buying:

Forensics: What Bugs, Burns, Prints, DNA and More Tell Us About Crime
Dot Robot
Pandaemonium
Dauntless

And from Heffers:
Civil War (the complete #1-7)
Station Eleven
The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet

118012 Ah the start of Spring and finally winter fading into actual sunshine and baby lambs.

What did you end up reading in March? Was it a good reading month? Did anything particularly spark your interest?

118012 I'll be making the March badges either today or tomorrow, so watch this space :3

118012 I was forced to read it for my course, which put me off slightly. But once you get into it it's pretty good! And its rather different from what you'd expect!

118012 I made the mistake of getting a NetGalley account... I've read 3 ARCS and I'm having to ban myself from requesting more books!

It's great fun being contact by the authors on twitter though!

118012 I did a bit of research when you started reading the Virkosigan Saga, Renee, and they sound like great books!
118012 Probably the most loved classic of all time! We're reading Pride and Prejudice for March!

If anyone would like the lead the discussion and pose questions/discussion topics, that would be great!
118012 This massively popular book, The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins is our pick for Mystery month!

If anyone would like the lead the discussion and pose questions/discussion topics, that would be great!
118012 This month we're reading The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind by William Kamkwamba for our Sub-Saharan focus!

118012 Hi Jill,

We choose books first by nominations, then by a poll.

Nominations generally open around 16th/17th of each month. Polls then run from the 20th/21st to 24th/25th.

These vary slightly, but its generally around those times. Currently, there's a day or so left on the polls for March! You can find them here.

Hope this covers things for you. If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to ask!

118012 Yeah, I recommend what Renee suggested. I have mine (along with the group in general) as a bookmark in Chrome.
