118012 It's on YouTube. It's actually really cleverly done. Just type in 'carmilla episode 1' and it should come up.

118012 Iasa, I really loved it! You can definitely tell how it lent inspiration to Stoker's Dracula, and it's lovely and short. I'd wholeheartedly recommend it if you want somebody spooky and a relatively quick read!

I've actually been watching a web series based off it, set in the modern day, which is originally how I came across it.

118012 I'm so glad everyone enjoyed it! A week one is definitely very good fun!

I personally didnt read nearly as much as much as I wanted. Uni work has been pilled up (assessments due in the next few weeks ahhh), so I've hardly had any time to read.

Nevertheless, I read roughly 400 pages, which I'm reasonably happy with. And Carmilla was seriously amazing! Like seriously! It's up there with Dracula for me.

In case anyone's interested, we're holding the next on at the end of the year, to try get the final pushes to our goals!

118012 Everyone ready to get their November reading started?!
118012 Alessandra, this group is all about expanding your reading! Glad we could help!
118012 In case anyone is interested, you can get the free public domain book, like mentioned above, from Project Gutenberg.

There's .epub and .mobi formats for all us e-reader-readers (?), and normal plain text for people who would like to read it online!

118012 The Readathon was a massive success! Thank you to everyone who took part, and well done to people getting such high page totals! We'll be holding another in the last week of December, in order to hit that final push for our goals!

On another note, there has been a bit of discussion on what is happening to the Group in 2015. Just to confirm: we are not moving groups. It will be the same group, but new threads will be set up and the title changed etc. From December onwards, we will start opening things up for 2015, especially your 2015 Personal Challenges place to start getting them all organised!

Also, we'll have loads of new great stuff happening, so it will be a flurry of activity!

118012 Hungover and texting. Definitely becoming a typical uni student!

118012 It is a course text, so the time won't be totally lost.

Rebelling, on Goodreads in my lecture!
118012 I will definitely try read this!
