118012 Great job, Meg! Those look like terrific reads!

118012 Wow! You're really moving quickly. I'm only in the 60s but I'll look forward to that one.

118012 The official start date was March 20. Holly and I have finished on our end, so go ahead and start.

I would say that "Pretty Dress" relates to a dress on the cover. With or without a person in it. If anyone has a different interpretation, let me know.

118012 They both look fine. There is room for interpretation so don't sweat it. It was nice of you to ask. :)

118012 I'm torn between The Feminine Mystique and Eighty Days: Nellie Bly and Elizabeth Bisland's History-Making Race Around the World. One is a classic. The other just looks really interesting and Bly has always fascinated me.

For my second book, I'll do a mystery.
118012 I agree, Alessandra. I don't remember finding any of the characters likable. I did think that the use of both the blackouts and the main character's fear/need-to-please as plot devices was interesting.

118012 Mission: Claim at least one "Bingo!" before June 20 (the first day of summer)!

This is an all new bingo for 2016! The Mods have put our heads together to create some new bingo categories and boards that will change with the seasons. (Fans of Karen's Original Bingo, don't worry... We'll be keeping that one for summer.)

RULES & GUIDELINES

Not too many of these as it is supposed to be fun after all :)

* As with traditional Bingo, you can go for a horizontal, vertical, diagonal, "X" or "around the world" (perimeter). Or aim big and go for a black out (all squares)!

* A book can only be used once on the sheet.

* Interpret the categories as broadly as you like.

* Feel free to copy and paste the template below to record your books:

118012 I'm posting the thread so that members can begin making plans for this mini-challenge. Please refrain from posting comments until Holly and I can finish setting up. It actually takes a bit to do the coordinating since we're in different countries with different schedules.

I'll make an announcement as soon as this challenge is "officially" open.
Thanks for your patience.

118012 Sonnet 60! My podcasters go on a complete tangent about Joss Whedon's Much Ado, Nathan Fillion, etc. Then tangent again onto Love, Actually. So, yeah, total infatuation now.
118012 Ha! That's a great story!

118012 Holly and I have to find time to coordinate so it will be launched as soon as that is possible. (Different countries, different schedules) Glad to see some interest. :D

118012 That's a terrific pairing, Kimberly.

118012 Good job, Sam. Sorry it was not your cup of tea but crossing things off the list is good, too.
