Thanks for asking. I'll look at the wording again to see where I've been unclear.

Paranormal: —adjective
"of or relating to the claimed occurrence of an event or perception without scientific explanation, as psychokinesis, extrasensory perception, or other purportedly supernatural phenomena."

Ingenuity is always welcome, so feel free to make suggestions that interpret this challenge in creative ways. As usual, please share your thought process as you make your choices for these categories.
*Bonus: if you can find a book that has both sports and madness, you can complete this in one!

Mission: Find and read one book with a story or cover/title that is somehow associated with the "Irish" experience. Books set in Ireland, Irish immigrant stories, anything by Maeve Binchy, etc. For cover/title, this could mean green, orange, luck, clover, lucky charms (rabbit's foot, etc.), or whatever else means "Irish" to you. (Without being offensive, of course. This is a happy, welcoming book group. Everyone on the planet has to deal with some stereotype. It's one thing for me, as a blonde, to tell blonde jokes, but I don't make the mistake of thinking I'm a fool.)
Any genre is welcome. Finding the books is part of the fun! For example, the books below could be counted for this challenge...
Green Mansions
Orange Is the New Black
The Lucky One
Plum Lucky
How the Irish Saved Civilization
My Left Foot
Please include something about the "Irish Connection" in your post, so we can all enjoy your creativity. :)
P. S. You can do this challenge more than once in March.

Rules: Pick Two books to read during March. Make your choices by matching a format in list one to a category in list two. For example, if you listen to Pride and Prejudice as an audiobook, your next book cannot be written before 1900 or on audio.
Format
1) Paperback
2) Hardcover
3) Audio
4) Ebook
Categories
1) Biography of a Woman
2) Female Author, written before 1900
3) Female Author, written after 1900
4) Women's Studies
5) Feminist Studies
6) Fiction with a strong female character

- Each mini-challenge has its own set of rules and completion date. These are posted at the beginning of the thread. Please take the time to read about the mini-challenge you join.
- The Year-Long Minis and Bingos lend themselves to cross-listing. Simply because they are so long and require a level of commitment. Feel free to list titles across the year-long minis. This should maximize your ability to join several mini-challenges if you choose to do so.
- The single-book/one month mini-challenges (mini-minis) are NOT designed to play well with others. There should be no cross-listing with these. They are designed to be an extra little perk each month to keep things fresh and exciting. But they are stand-alone minis.
- There are a few "middle-sized" minis, such as the Bingos and the seasonal mini-challenges. You may choose to cross-list things from these minis with the year-long challenges but not with other "middle-sized" minis or mini-minis.
- Group Read books can be used either with the monthly minis OR with the longer mini-challenges. The participation in Group Reads has fallen off so much that we're hoping to encourage more members to get involved there again.
- You may choose to create a Personal Goal thread in that folder to help you keep track of any/all of the challenges you join. (I have.) But please check in on the mini-challenge threads from time to time. One of the advantages of doing these with a group is that we encourage each other and celebrate our successes.
- There is a thread in the Mini-Challenge folder for questions. Feel free to ask about anything which seems unclear and to pose ideas for future challenges.

An option for you would be to go to another electronic device and access the website. Then cut and paste to create your challenge. After that you should be able to access the post from your Kindle to do updates. (Theoretically. My Kindle is "readonly" so I can't test the theory.)
Hope that helps.
