This single book challenge is only good for one month! From February 1 to February 28. Mission: Find and read one book with a title that SOUNDS LIKE a Romance but is NOT a Romance. This could mean hearts, flowers, pink, love, letters, heartbreak. Have fun with it!

I was wondering about that just from previewing the illustrations and knowing how things were portrayed in those times (and long after). I'm reading Prairie with an advanced student and thinking about how to handle that discussion when it comes up.

Am about halfway through. Seriously depressing book. Gross, too. Depressing=life of workers. Gross=meat packing practices.
So good though! Bleak House is one of my favorites.
