Thanks so much, Rosemarie!
And, welcome, Krysta!

You can backfill anything you've read in 2017 if you'd like. :)

I'm claiming
To Have and to Kill because it's a "Wedding Cake Mystery." It says so on the cover! (Just not in the title. Darn!)

Now that Valentines Day is over, how goes it with the I Hate Valentines mini?

Great job, Ladies! I'm definitely going to add Hidden Figures to my book list.

March is Women's History Month. So I'd like to propose a theme of Women's History: biography, history, historical fiction with strong female characters, memoir & autobiography, women's studies...
Maybe scifi with strong female characters like
The Hunger Games or
Divergent.

Christine,
Jump right in. Some of us are further ahead; some further behind.

Good for you, Krysta and Yvonne!
Any reading to a loved one counts!
(Even reading the newspaper. Or reading a betime story to your kids.) Love is Love.

It depends on where you are counting it.
If counting it on you Good Reads Challenge, you must list each book of the trilogy separately for 3 books. Or as an anthology for 1. Personal choice. Sometimes I do both because I like to look back and see both the individual books and the collection.
If counting them here in this group, you need to assess how the trilogy will fit with whatever challenges you join. For the Alphabet Challenge, you could do A-Amber Spyglass, G-Golden Compass, S-Subtle Knife. But I don't know which challenges you're considering.
If you need clarification, feel free to ask again.

Nothing is really expected of you, Anna. Just to be friendly. Look around. Join the challenges that interest you. Share what you're reading or how you're doing in the challenges you choose.
You might want to start a Personal Challenge thread. It can help you keep track of the things in which you participate.
Ask questions if you need clarification. Happy Reading!

I'm one book away from my first Winter Bingo... Any suggestions for "a book published last year." I've looked over the 2016 lists but nothing jumps out.

Great to hear. Thanks, Summer.

Woot woot!
I was considering Murder in Time. What did you think of it?

Volume 1 (Fantine) End of Book 5
Oh, dear God, Fantine! I'm completely wrung out by her ordeals. That poor, poor girl!

Definitely the right place for challenges and a variety of genres. Look around and see what you want to try. You might want to set up a topic thread for yourself in the Personal Challenge folder. It can help to keep track of the challenges/reads/games that you join.

I've had that happen with Agatha Christie! Of course, then I can feel really smart for "guessing" whodunnit!
