Isn't that every mother's nightmare? To be unable to care for your child and leave them at the mercy of someone who treats them with cruelty. How awful some people can be when they think they can get away with it. :(

That was us yesterday, Allison! We literally went from a sunny 65 to shoveling in less than 24 hours. Weather is so weird!

We are getting lots of snowfall today, so I'm home from work with my books and my kitties. I do love a Snow Day! Anyone else snowed in?

I finally did finish Ulysses before the end of 2016. It was very challenging. One day I hope to read it again with a group that is really up for that challenge and some massive discussion!
