Therefore I had not included The Giver of Stars for example which is historical and not contemporary?

I LOOOVE A Christmas Carol, truly my favorite Christmas book and movie! Would love to listen to it before the end of the year but not sure I’ll manage. I’m listening to Astray right now and it’s taking me forever to finish it, I just can’t keep focused (maybe I should DNF it...)Already had Nevermoor on my TBR and now I’ve added War on the Gods as well (I’m reading Percy now and loving it).

Very bad month reading wise….
Finished The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes.Liked it well enough, but I guess short stories aren't my thing. It's like they're not suitable to really appreciate Sherlock's detective and deductive reasoning skills.
Not my favorite either....
I just found out that my favorite readathon, the 24in48 readathon was cancelled for January 2020 and that it may even stop completely. I'm checking in my groups if people are interested in joining a 24in28 readathon with me (way more low key than the original one of course). If so, please let me know!
